That’s a bit harsh. He isn’t being ambiguous per se. He just cant say anything until it’s confirmed. He did confirm we have made an offer and it is up to him.
So he can say something, right? Like he's in negotiations... Fans like these enjoy frontality.

Still an impossible situation to leave in good terms with fans.

I was a bit confused as to way he just walked into the tunnel straight after the game tbh. For a manager that's about to leave, it's a bit weird not to at least clap the fans that supported him for so long.

Would make more sense that the reports about him having to stay till November is true and he's just not saying anything until its official.

if he’s sporting an erection there, it’s undetectable to the naked eye. i’d question just how much he wants this job.
The problem with you is that none of us can be certain which eye you're talking about here.

As opposition fans how you feel about him? What do you think his tactics lack or may be an issue in the PL where every game is a battle?
I'm sorry, apart from the WC 22 final, the last football game I saw was some 6 or 7 years ago, I totally retired. Just piqued my interest to look at fan reactions as nostalgia.

Would tie in with him having some kind of notice period despite the buyout fee... if he doesn't know whether United and Sporting can negotiate that or he'll have to wait until the international break.

That's not how notice period works.

There was a notice period if Amorim decides to leave. 6 weeks or whatever.

But a release clause has been met, that is the compensation to break any notice period between manager and club.

Except that's what has been reported.

We dont know the intricacies of these break clauses and if you believe the papers there's extra elements to be negotiated.

Would be weird for you to pack and leave your home immediately and also not having said good bye to fans etc.

Wonder if signing might be announced first but he travel after settling ends. He would probably let RVN manage the Chelsea game.

Overrated squad? If anything, it's underrated.

Also, aging? What?
We have scored 8 goals in 9 PL matches this season, 3 Cb’s all over 30, 3 Midfielder over 30 and the team has not scored over 60PL goals in 4 seasons, but our players are underrated!

Lindelof(30), H Maguire (31), J Evan’s(37), Casemiro(32), C Eriksen(32), Bruno(30),

Always Injured ; M Mount, L Shaw, T Malacia,

Frequently injured; N Mazraoui, R Hojlund, Amad Diallo, K Mainoo, H Maguire, L Yoro, L Martinez

Players who look like they are not fit for purpose ; Antony, Zirkzee

I would say with players aging within the squad and huge injuries issues with the rest of the squad that anyone who believes that this squad is a nailed on top 4 squad is deluded?

Fitness, Football IQ, Clinical finishing, taking care of the ball, Game Management, Working collectively as a unit, playing swashbuckling football, we have a huge way to go?

Ruben Amorin will evaluate the squad and look to the youth set up for 3 or 4 players that he needs for his system and also look to bring 4 or 5 of his own players in over the next two windows.

As soon as he sees our misfiring forwards costing him points, he’ll demand Victor Gyrokeres in Winter transfer window, as soon as he sees the club has injury prone full backs as wing backs, he’ll demand at least two of them as well. And when he sees that Martinez, Maguire, De Ligt and Evan’s have very little pace in the back line he’ll demand inacio or Diomende from sporting?

And it’s obvious he’ll want a CM that’s in the 22-25 year old range as well.

He almost had the muppets choking but pulled it back at the end when he said he didn’t know. The cheeky git!

No wonder he was a labelled a 'piece of shit' earlier in the thread. He's too much of a tease

Holy shit, what!
It's the Portuguese league. Bas Dost scored 61 in 61 in his first two seasons for Sporting.

As the main striker for one of the big three, you're playing for a CL side against League One teams.

I hope he writes off some players from the get go. No more of this, all players have clean slates, and we get caughtup in the same cycle again. Like Maresca did with Sterling.

This guy doesn't give anyone else lowkey creeps? His name would sound righter backwards and he has a David Blane at the singles bar look.

We're finally moving away from the 4231 formation, it just doesn't work for us. No matter the player that we buy, it just doesn't work for us. Bring on 343!!

I bet you're fun at parties! :(

Can’t believe he’s the same age as Cristiano Ronaldo also. That’s crazy.
Seeing as he's played with Ronaldo, maybe he'd be able to get the best out of him, so therefore we should bring him back?

If Mike Keegan were to be believed, Shiekh Jassim was ahead in most of the takeover negotiations.
