Not a bad guy (Whale Killer)
Just cause he doesn’t play the incoming managers formation he isn’t serving United? Thats rich.He is there to server United not RVN in fairness.

My thoughts exactlySo Ugarte and all the extra CB’s were bought with Amorim in mind?
We are putting in place a game model. The more games the players have to get used to the new system the better.Just cause he doesn’t play the incoming managers formation he isn’t serving United? Thats rich.
the media certainly didn't waste any time, Ducker already has a "van Nistelrooy is a distraction that Amorim doesn't need" piece out. Miserable lot.I hear your point. I hope this guy has a think enough skin for the awful media mashup MUFC have become. Looking forward to seeing how he approaches job. Best of luck to him and us.
Amorim next season

Don’t think it’s that simple in reality. Hopefully Amorim will won’t pick up where ETH left off.Hope you guys still get the league this season. New manager should pick up where Amorim left off.

But a system isn’t something that can be explained over the phone for Ruud to go to training and emulate it. He barely has time to get ideas across in his week and he is supposed to implement Ruben’s ideas now? That’s very harsh on Ruud.We are putting in place a game model. The more games the players have to get used to the new system the better.
I'm grateful to be honest. I know some Sporting fans have turn on him, it's difficult to accept because of the timing and our superb start. But I'm understanding. You don't say no to the chance of managing one of the biggest club in the World. Along Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern and Liverpool, United is part of the club Royalty. This rough stretch doesn't change that. I prefer to keep the memories and be grateful for the success he brought to our club rather than being negative.
He will definitely need time since I don't really rate your squad. Needs an overhaul with Amorim influence.Exciting.
I think similar things were said about ETH but he was managing the dominant team in his league. Amorim took over with them 19th and their fans attacking their players. What he’s done has been superb and on less money than Porto and Benfica. Finally a charismatic young manager too. Hopefully gets the media onside from the get go as he’ll still need time.

Very tough job thenTurning Maguire into an actual player.
Which players? They are on international duty.Starts 11th November. 2 week International break to work with the players - just need a load of tactical pull outs.
His current title at Sporting is Head Coach so there is no demotion to talk about, he is joining a new structure which has streamlined his role to suit the role he has occupied all his life. And we must do what is right for us as a club and avoid being left holding a sack of expensive shit everytime you sack a manager and the new one demanding another round of expensive flops. It was a vicious cycle and I, for one, am happy we have taken significant steps towards breaking it.Yeah I'm not convinced it suits this club though. Are we going to start seeing someone above Amorim speaking to the press about recruitment, for example, to take some of the pressure from him?
You need a big personality and broad shoulders to lead Manchester United, whatever job title you're given. Deliberately relegating him to head coach seems like we're undermining him from the start. I hope I'm wrong, but we all know the press in this country will pick mercilessly at any perceived weakness.
I think Carrington has more than one cycle and I sincerely hope he’s not that fecking clumsy.Good news. Here’s hoping he breaks the cycle.
He is, but he's no upgrade to his predecessor in that regard. He’s a handsome man.![]()
I was joking but it's one of the things I have more curiosity about. I genuinely think he can turn slabhead into a decent player. I mean he did with Coates. Unlike most Sporting fans who idolize Coates for what he gave us, I have good memory. I remember Sporting fans booing and wanting Coates, not even sold but released for free. Then Amorim came and Coates is now considered, arguably, one of the best CB in Sporting history.Very tough job then
They have used some of it, part of my interview is in there but I disagree with a lot of what they have mentioned in the wider article.
Maguire may get a lifeline since he plays 3 at the back. Don’t expect him to be first choice but we always have injuries at the back so will get his fair share of games. Back 3 also suits him.I was joking but it's one of the things I have more curiosity about. I genuinely think he can turn slabhead into a decent player. I mean he did with Coates. Of course you can take my words with a pinch of salt since I rated Rojo.
Ten Hag looks like a boiled egg where a bit of the top has come off with the shell. He is, but he's no upgrade to his predecessor in that regard.
In our case they will put on a white lab coat, move to a castle in a mist shrouded forest/small Transylvanian town, put all our players onto morgue slabs, summon electric lightning through their bodies and HOPE to bring life, belief, confidence and ability to them. Possibly being sarcastic, as there are some, no matter what amount of electric energy you fired through them, would remain prone on the slab. What’s the main role of a sports scientist?
