Yeah, this formation won't work. Not his fault I guess but if he insists on this, we're getting relegated and he's getting sacked.
I've backed him to implement his system but maybe he needs to find something that works with this group before we get relegated.

He just doesn't have enough forwards in his squad. Why we sold Sancho and Pellistri baffles me. On top of that he's been bad at picking a good squad for premier league games as he's trying to adapt for that weakness in the wrong ways.

2. Zirkzee just needs to be played in Europe or cup games as he needs time to adapt. Play youth strikers instead.
3. We simply can't play Maguire, Eriksen, Rashford as they can't physically compete at their role. We have enough depth to survive without these players. He has Mazz and Dalot that can play RCB or backup RWB. Use Toby, Mainoo, Casemiro, Bruno, Ugarte in the midfield. For forwards we are thin and need to just play our youth players. Or buy some cheap forwards in January.
How any manager thinks they can get away without competing physically when you have no chemistry in the squad and tactical familiarity baffles me.

Then if he didn’t want it, he should have said no. The amount of excuses coming out for Amorim is unreal. Managers are expected to come in and improve teams from the previous manager. Sure it might take some time to implement tactics or styles but we are getting battered match after match. This is getting rather pathetic now.

You don't have creative players then you make your team hard to beat, tight defensively, make the pressing work at the bare minimum. It's not like these players can't run. Why is the defensive line so deep and no pressure is applied when lose possession?
Playing 2 CM will see you in big trouble bar against the bottom 2 or 3 clubs.

Amorim has been dealt an unbelievably bad hand trying to sort this mess out. But if he isn’t right, as is rapidly becoming apparent, then serious questions have to be asked what the feck the collective ineos hive mind are actually doing? They blew a fortune to make this happen.
