Please don’t overthink, rebuild or try to re-invent the wheel. We got the best squad in years, make them enjoy playing again and bring back attractive top 4 football for now. That’s more important than the odd cup title here and there
 
Any news on whether his assistants are confirmed too? I thought that was meant to be a sticking point given the compensation Sporting were demanding.

No mention of Ruud's future afterwards. Big call as to whether he keeps him. I hope he does. Forwards coach perhaps?

Welcome to the club Ruben. Amorim was my 2nd pick because he is acknowledged as one of the best young coaches in word football and has the personality to inspire players.

As much as I’m excited to see him in the dugout, I am slightly cautious. It’s a massive step up from Portugal to here and I wonder how he plans to incorporate his system in the team. But overall, it’s a positive risk to take. Also impressed with how the club have gone about employing him, it’s been a pretty quick and decisive process.
