It really feels like Michael Oliver is very important for Germany to win now. It is not easy to understand that he gave a penalty kick, where the ball from 0.5 meters away is shot hard onto an arm. Denmark had been kind of tiring anyway. Still pushed high up the field, but not having the pressing to back it up anymore, you can't leave players like Schlotterbeck open like that when there's space behind your back line.
Great goal that, Denmark were chasing the ball at midfield for a good 10 passes, Germany decides to pass it back and lure Denmark in and they ran right into the trap.
