Pathetic team Italy, every single one of them except Donnarumma. Their capitulation is reminiscent of United under Rangnick, you can tell they are not this bad, they simply have zero heart. Not having heart for your national team is shameful. Why are you even there if you don't care

Ironically at the time when both teams were probably at their poorest on the national scene. Both went out in the group stages. Swiss should've done better but lost Alex Frei in the first game who was their main source of goals and the Yakin brothers were a little past their best. Austria talent pool have dried up so they were expected to make little impact.
Fond memories of some of their 90s players though, Andreas Herzog, Toni Polster and Stephane Chapuisat were all excellent players in that time.

Good point. Specific systems, such as Arteta's or Pep's, is not for everybody. Nothing wrong with moving on and being great in a different style of team.
