Always have liked him. Pretty good talent.
Powell is definitely not lightweight! He's a big unit.
Barkley looks like he could be a player but he needs games. Reckon it could be another year before he leaves... especially if Everton sneak champions league football

He's only made 11 league appearances for them.
Needs at least one more season.
I only saw the second half but I thought he was wasteful and arrogant which he's been pretty much every time I've seen him this year. Obviously a talent but he's very raw. Much more so than Rooney was at 17 never mind 19.
On a side note, how did Fellaini play in the deeper CM role? I only saw the 2nd half but thought he was anonymous. Gibson outshone him.
Has scholesy hacked your account?
I couldn't think of a better way to phrase it. It's that kind of inexperience that comes from him obviously being bigger and faster than almost every other kid in his age group so he just tries to bulldoze past players all the time. Takes a lot of touches and takes a lot of risks in silly positions and tends to run down a lot of blind alleys. Basically whenever I see him he makes a lot of stupid decisions.

1) Nobody, I think in the history of anything ever, has said Tunnicliffe was ever even close to as good as Pogba
2) It was a few idiots with more mouth than sense who were claiming that Macheda > Welbeck
3) Evans IS superior to Pique.
Top, top post...
I heard many fans saying they thought tunnicliffe was the bigger talent...only an absolute gimp would disagree on this
Evans is better than pique? I'd say he is not far off but I doubt Evans would be an automatic selection in the Spanish national side like Pique is..Pique has lost form a few times but when on form is class....only a Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime would say that Evans would walk into the Spanish national team
The thing the impresses me most is how much he's developed physically. Suppose the championship had a role in that. The ability has always been there.
He started against us last season too and had a stinker. I also remember him coming up against Pogba and Morrison in the reserves and being completely outclassed and outplayed.
Just Pogba, Morison sulked on the bench that game.
His loan to Sheff Wed made a huge difference for him, he was consistently one of their better players for the first half of their season.
We should spend the 20m or so on this kid. Thats how we've always done our transfer business and built our teams, with young players who we can mold.
If there is one Everton player I want Moyes to sign its Barkley.
