Yep looks like a back 3 might be on the cards.Looks like half the squad is centerbacks.

Who cares? It's not an actual matchday squad. It doesn't actually matter if he's named or not.Yes. That's why it doesn't make sense to not include him in the Squad.
What the hell are people waiting for. We've announced we've reached agreement, he's spoken about how happy he is to join.
People take the whole 'won't believe it until he's photographed holding the shirt' line to a ridiculous extent.
Hypothetically he could still move to Chelsea as the personal terms havent been signed yet I think.
Even on here there's that one Spurs fan saying if Lukaku is worth 90m then what's Kane worth? - That post drew plenty of ire on the Caf.
Valencia and Blind/Shaw as wing backs. I could get on board for that.Yep looks like a back 3 might be on the cards.
Kane was consistently part of a stable good team while Lukaku was in teams that constantly went through ups and downs.Strange, seeing as that Spurs fan is entirely accurate in the assessment. Will it matter if it's not a Spurs fan saying it, but a United fan? Let's try: Kane is clearly the better striker and overall better footballer, and would naturally also be worth more than Lukaku in terms of a transfer fee.
How that draws the ire of the Caf is beyond me. As if criticising Lukaku compared to Kane somehow equals to attacks aimed at the posters on Lukaku's side in the discussion.
By the way, here are Lukaku's and Kane's numbers in the Premier League, going back 5 seasons:
Matches | Goals
Lukaku:
35 | 17 (2012/2013 – West Brom)
33 | 15 (2013/2014 – Chelsea/Everton)
36 | 10 (2014/2015 – Everton)
37 | 18 (2015/2016 – Everton)
37 | 25 (2016/2017 – Everton)
Kane:
4 | 0 (2012/2013 – Tottenham/Norwich)
10 | 3 (2013/2014 – Tottenham)
34 | 21 (2014/2015 – Tottenham)
38 | 25 (2015/2016 – Tottenham)
30 | 29 (2016/2017 – Tottenham)
Kane continues on a steady curve of development, with the stats to back it up. Lukaku has flapped around in comparison to Kane, and has broken the 20-goal barrier only once in his five full seasons. Kane has broken it three times in as many seasons. Of course he's worth more, what's there to even argue?
Good Squad
Hypothetically it would still be possible, Mikel was photographed in United clothing already and still switched the last moment. It's extremely unlikely but better avoid such a situation than repair it.yeah imagine that after that ESPN interview earlier saying why he has agreed to join United and he didn't need to think twice because it is the biggest club then having to try and get to Chelsea
And a winger. Ideally another left back but I have a feeling that won't happen. Winger + defensive midfielder is a must though. We really need to sign at least one more central midfield player.
Agreed unless we are playing 352 / 361And a winger. Ideally another left back but I have a feeling that won't happen. Winger + defensive midfielder is a must though.
It was always like this. Always. Almost every transfer deal in football is announced this way. Not sure why it suddenly takes people by surprise.I kinda find it weird that we're confirming deals are agreed pending medicals, then waiting days to announce. Did we do that before Woodward, cause I can't remember any?
Thought so tooDoes the squad seem to be really lacking in quantity or am I afraid too much ?
I mean the first 3 lines are all GKs and defenders. That looks poor.
He's been one of our most reliable squad players.Thought so too
Forgot about AYoung. What's he still doing here?!
Rojo, Shaw and Young have been injured and probably won't play so it's 3 keepers 11 defenders although Tuanzebe and Fosu- Mensah could play in midfield and Mitchell can play on the wing and 11 midfielders or attackers which will be 12 when Lukaku joins the squad. Considering we're only likely to play a maximum of 22 players in any game and probably won't even use that many in some of the games I don't really see a problemDoes the squad seem to be really lacking in quantity or am I afraid too much ?

Fair play. Maybe I do just have an appalling memory! It was always like this. Always. Almost every transfer deal in football is announced this way. Not sure why it suddenly takes people by surprise.
Carrick, for example, back in 2006: http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/2385130/united-agree-carrick-fee
Has he? Has he even chalked up 10 games for last season? He's been one of our most reliable squad players.
Not a very useful one though. He doesn't complain and tries hard but those are his best qualities by some distance. He's been one of our most reliable squad players.
People are questioning whether Kane would cost more than Lukaku?
What?
If someone had given you Gibson and Cleverly you would be a bit disgruntled as well.
Looking at that squad list really doesn't fill me with confidence for the coming season. Many average players, lack of balance and little depth.
Missing the most important part - a photo I am sure it will be done shortly after they land in LA.Why hasnt this been confirmed
Hopefully they're letting Rooney and Everton have their day and will announce Lukaku late tonight or tomorrow I imagine he has aleady signed just a matter of when to announce it.Why hasnt this been confirmed

Chelsea has never played in this court so no, their ears shouldn't burn, no reason.

That squad is only for the tour and not for the next season.
i think the Juve guys, like Dybala and Morata, should be close do Paul. We should definitely contact them.Who is else is Pogba mates with?
