Ish
Lights on for Luke
Harsh Hectic, but true
Nah. Apparenly it was just precaution. That being said though it's still a thigh muscle injury. I'd be very surprised if he started against Wigan.
source?
How much traveling is hernandez doing?
Van persie should start if he is fit.
Did you keep the receipt? We might give you your money back.
He should make the bench, welbeck and Hernandez is more than enough and that should ensure RvP is ready for midweek and Anfield
If he's fit enough for the bench he can start. Bring him off when we're crusing if needed. He can be rested/bench midweek in Fergie's usual CL rotation.
Other than RvP's contributions, Wigan have played significantly better than United so far this season. If we are without RvP they should be favourites.

This is as stupid of a statement as I've ever seen
I mean in what world could wigan ever be considered favorites when playing united at old trafford
It's hard to take the CAF seriously at the moment. I know it's a minority but some of the stuff I have read on here since the start of the season is embarrassing. It's got worse since the Southampton game.
I started posting on the CAFE 06/07 when I was sick of moaning that went on on 606(a shit hole) and the MEN site. You would have thought that side was garbage going on the level of moaning there, all the time. So I started up here and the Mains looked and was good. You got the occasional retarded poster(Kanoute greater than Rooney) and some of the Chief's stuff was insane(left footed pen takers) although always a good poster but the level of posting and debate was good. You always got the sense as well that the majority of the poster generally agreed on what we had even if views are always different on players abilities, the usefulness of squad players, youngsters, other teams, Queiroz, SAF, performances, ownership, etc.
This season I get the feeling that the squad and players are being ludcriously under-rated by a section of posters and snap and reactionary judgments are being made. The level of criticism is well over the top and it's hard not to think some actually want us to fail so they bump a post 6 months down the line and bask in their Internet kudos. Fecking weird.
For me, this is the strongest group of players since 07/08 and 08/09 and that will show itslef throughout the season. United's two greatest seasons of my lifetime started slowlu(treble year and 07/08). I expect United to comfortably beat Wigan at O.T. with or without RVP or Rooney. What's for sure, we are favourites everywhere other than with Ravelston.
I see pessimists are getting their excuses in early.
Without disrespecting the opponents a game at Old Trafford against Wigan should be standard 3 points even with half the team out. If they don't manage a win United should have no excuses.

Go see the Kagawa thread, there is an update there, from a 'source.'
Expect us to line up with something like;
Hernandez
Nani Young Valencia
as our front 4 against Wigan, unless RvP can get fit.
Rooney's inclusion would be a very surprising shock, Kagawa seems to be getting his back assessed, and RvP is probably the most likely to feature/start out of those 3, but I'm not sure he'll be risked to start at least.
Considering that, and the fact De Gea hasn't played in a few weeks, Vidic/Rio are still getting back to pace after a long break from football, Rafael's made a few big errors, Carrick/Cleverley seems off the pace a bit, Welbeck/Hernandez haven't featured up top for any significant amount of time... game on against wigan! Only really Valencia and possibly Evra bar that outjump last match, have played at a good level consistently, and are expected to start.
