Take away the goals and he was still our best player I reckon. Went close with a free kick, constantly found himself in great positions in the box and then as Kagawa went off and he dropped deeper he played Hernandez and Welbeck in a couple of times. Constant threat really, much better than his Fulham performance.

I never amagined he would settle so quick and become so instrumental within his first 3 games, i thought he might struggle at first as we play so differently to Arsenal.

It was RvP's third match
He's just what we needed, someone who you can properly rely on to put the ball in the back of the net. I know it's early days but his qualities are something we've missed. Previously you wouldn't really know where goals would come from if Rooney wasn't in form. He really adds to our team and compliments the players that feed him balls from the wing or through the middle, which is a fair few (Valencia, Nani, Scholes, Carrick, Evra to name a few).
