Why are you making stuff up? Who said he was "100% fit to play"?

If you disagree with me disagree with what I've actually said, instead of making up what I've said to try and be a smart arse. It doesn't suit you.

Where did I quote you saying that? I didn't apply that to anyone. Calm the feck down. I know Robin van Persie is injured and it's obviously affecting you but just relax.

It was clear for everybody to see with their own eyes that RvP wasn't anywhere near fit in that game last week, yet he was rushed back and played the full 90 minutes.

So a player injures his thigh muscle by twisting himself striking a ball and your first thought is "must be something to do with his old groin injury"?

All players play with knocks. If they only played when they were 100% fit then there'd be nobody out there. Have any of you played football at all? I played at a very low level and if I only played when I was 100% fit to play I'd never have played. Having knocks and tweaks and playing is part of playing sport, any sport. It's stunning how few of you seem to know that.

No, my first thought was "not surprising, he hasn't been fit all season." I know players play with knocks, Van Persie has been playing with toe and groin injuries, and now, after being rushed back from his groin injury (despite what you say, he was) he is now out for a month with another injury. I think the likelihood is they're linked, surely he'd be less likely to pick up a muscular injury in a match after two weeks full training than two days? Rafael was in full training for two weeks and still didn't start, so I'm going to presume that's the case.

It's clear what you were getting at. You made a sarcastic comment about how RVP was clearly 100% fit. Don't try and patronise me with the whole "I didn't quote anyone" shite. You said that with the clear aim of trying to build a strawman. Argue with my actual points, not shite nobody has actually said.

You're so angry, it's brilliant. Calm down and stop jumping all over people who don't agree with you. Welcome the world where opinions vary.

Ah I see. You're at the stage where you can't really argue the point you're making so you point and say "look how angry he is". Pathetic.

You tried to be a smartarse with your whole "100%" thing when nobody actually said it, and when that's pointed out its just "oh you're so angry".

I see the spastic is strong with this one so I'll leave you to it. Be sure to let us all know when Moyes next fecks something up for us so we can all come in and criticise him fairly.

 Good job there. I'll catch you at the next angry rant when someone doesn't agree with you.

He has been well below par this season anyway. It might give Kagawa a good chance to form an understanding with Rooney.

But yeah all moyes fault, grrr

This season is a dream for Utd's main opponents, sometimes injuries happen and there is nothing as much as the need to scapegoat someone is huge.
Just out of curiosity, is Welbeck injured too (he recently came back from an injury and played lots of mins in the first couple of games) ?

Arsenal fan's post on Reddit:

Well...most of the billion RvP injuries he had for the 7 years at Arsenal prior to his one healthy season were muscle injuries (a whole bunch of thigh, groin, and hamstring strains), too (and ankle injuries, those were the big two he always had). Don't think Moyes is to blame (let alone for the fact that he injured himself in a match, not in training). Van Persie's two injury-free seasons were the fluke, not him getting injured.

I am not saying that Moyes is to blame for this because it is impossible to tell, but that an injury occurs in a match as opposed to training means very little. If he is being overworked in training then the strains that would put on his body would make him more susceptible to picking up injuries in games as well as training.

Oh definitely. The rumours that RVP has been unhappy with the training has to have come from somewhere. We all know Moyes emphasises physical training and that comment about 'overworking' RVP earlier this summer didn't sit well with me. I think Arsenal got his training right in his last season with them, and last season with United. There's no 'one size fits all' when it comes to physical training. Got to tailor it to different players.

They still have the same fitness people as they had under SAF and Giggs etc aren't suffering so I assume there are different programs for players.

Rumours are so easy to plant and take seed these days, just look at twitter with transfer gossip. Until one of the journos with decent connections at United starts reporting unhappiness with players, I wouldn't give any of the gossip credence.

The overtraining of RvP was to try and get him up to speed for the start of the season I'm assuming as he joined the preseason tour late and we had a tough start to the season so needed our best players fit and firing. Getting injured from taking a corner is a bit of a freak injury.

Vultures will be out to blame Moyes for an injury nothing to do with training methods.

Kagawa, and Hernandez now need to step up a few notches.

Yeah there's definitely more than a few United fans who are getting restless over Kagawa's performances. Everyone was clamouring for him to be played in matches earlier this season and his performances simply have not warranted the whole 'Moyes iz idiot. Play Kagawa', free Shinji etc.

We don't know what Moyes does exactly in training but there have long been detractors towards his methods, we do know that he absolutely 'beasts' the players, something I remember Solskjaer saying was something that he was only subjected to early in his career. You would have thought that there is some fire to go along with all the smoke and Robin Van Persie certainly does not look happy.
