We look lost when he doesn't play. What's our record without him, bet it isn't healthy.

We need our best player back. He's looked injured all season.

Come back Robin. It's gonna be a tough fight for 4th if you're not there.

My commentator mentioned he had a groin injury but trained yesterday. Think we'll see him in Germany.

Okay, so after 2 years of being injury free... a) whats happened? and b) should we expect these niggling injuries as the norm from now on?

2 years being injury free for an injury prone player suggests that he was due these injuries sooner or later.

I'd imagine Moyes saw the game on Wednesday as more important and didn't want to risk him. Hernandez and Rooney should have been enough to beat Cardiff.

Not sure if there was a change in the training program when Moyes took over but it could be the reason behind his recent injuries. Hard to tell because we don't exactly what goes on at Carrington.

RVP is getting back pains. Makes sense after carrying Arsenal and now us for the majority of his career!

Makes sense to stop patching him up through games, Hernandez is chomping at the bit to get involved and Welbeck is back now.

Hope he's around for Tottenham away though. That's a crunch game now.

Yup, taking chances on half healed injuries when you have a player like Hernandez ready to go, is just stupid.

Give RVP the chance to recover and he will fire us passed Tottenham, he loves it in London.

I wonder if we could finally see our best second option with Rooney ahead of Kagawa through the middle.

2 years injury free then rumblings about Moyes Neanderthal fitness training and pop goes RVp. coincidence? Or just rvp reverting to form, but rvp did say after he joined us he had a new fitness regime and put on 3/4 kg of muscle.

Any details on time out? Kind of funny though. We spent all our time wondering how absolutely in the shit we would be if RVP and Carrick got injured. Well now we know, we put in our best performance of the season lols.

I really don't like how he keeps getting injured, fortunately we have other great players. I miss his magic up front.
I don't think he 'keeps getting injured' as such, it's the same injuries mentioned all the time, toes and groin. He missed the City game because of the same thing and we just haven't let him heal. I'd rather we let him fully recover rather than keep rushing him back only for it to resurface a few days/weeks later.

Indeed. Hopefully Moyes will give him a proper rest since Rooney and Kagawa are in good form at the moment.

True, our medical team don't seem to be the best among the european teams.

That's true, there's times when it's just impact injuries and you can't do much about it, but you also feel at times that we often rush players back when they're not 100% fit, hoping it'll go alright.

As far as medical teams are concerned, I get the feeling Arsenal's isn't great, there's been a history of a lot of injuries there, but City and Chelsea don't seem to have as many problems, do they? Which is surprising, cos with Eva Carneiro in the medical team, I'd spend my team being injured.

I think whatever the injury, that he should recover completely and not be rushed back. He probably needs the break as well.

Saw on twitter that of the four PL games he has missed we haven't won a single one.
Not saying he is the only reason, but he's important to us. Want him fully recovered but hope he is back soon.

I think he's the main man at United, he might miss the odd chance but he's out best finisher.

Moyes on @Persie_Official: "We’ve been trying to get him back for a few weeks but he is not ready. It’s a sore groin, nothing too serious."

Goddamn.. Yesterday he said something like "he's ready to appear tomorrow(Everton)".. RVP's got three days to get better..

Heard that in his press conference after the game, that doesn't look good, is it a bad injury or if RVP not wanting to play for Moyes?

Alarming how frequently he's been injured this season.

Never managed to win a game (albeit only 4 in a season and a half) in the PL without him. Hashtag main man.

I'm surprised more has not been made of this. We keep hearing how he's nearly back but then not quite ready.

Its all a bit weird.
