This isn't a criticism of RVP.
Someone compiled a video of Gnabry's ten minutes. That was deadly dull too.

Difference between video of Gnabry and RVP is that the former is an average player who's got feck all to show while the latter's showing some brilliant stuff that's overlooked as we're used to his tremendous skill.
Oh, and I'm one of the only people on this forum who has attended 'refereevideos-making-school,' and trust me, that'snot a penalty.a very useful video.
What really is the enjoyment that people derive out of micro-analysis of a player's performance? Rewatching an entire game to then upload a video with him hitting a corner to the first man. Great.

He must be a nightmare to defend against. When he plays that well I wonder what plan opposition defenders try to conjure up to stop him. He's not the fastest, but his quality of movement makes that irrelevant, he's incredibly strong on the ball with the most precise of touches including magnetic close control, so you can't exactly bully him, he also has a full range of finishes to hurt teams with. He's just simply unstoppable.
If he leads us to more success in the next couple of years and continues to be a decisive player he'll go down as a legend. I've seen plenty of strikers for our club but IMO he's the best of the lot.
Silently, I think I'm part of the majority here.
For me, RvN is still United best striker. He's like a more technical Drogba.
One reason was that our team was set up to bring the best out of RvN back then. And now that RvP is here, we have mis firing wingers and a non existent midfield. In that respect, I think RvP has done quite well in the near 1.5 seasons he has spent here.RvN was definitely better than RvP, and especially better for United. RvP would need a few more seasons to be in that conversation.

Yes. He's just a perfect center forward. More technical and faster than Vieri.RvN was definitely better than RvP, and especially better for United. RvP would need a few more seasons to be in that conversation.
He made the through ball to Januzaj resulting in Valencia's goal against Fulham.
Oh, mixed the goals.Actually it was his pass to Rooney that set him up Valencia, and Januzaj's pass to RVP to score.
Walcott has a book? ............................

It's from August '12 though, so it's not because of him switching clubs
I can actually imagine Van Persie, with that big cheesy grin, sprinting around the training ground shouting "Whassaaaaap," to be fair.
That said, why on earth do sportspeople release autobiographies half way through their careers? Just wait until you're retired.
Typical bitter and small time gooner. Mentioning RVP like that to sell his book.
I know I'll get laughed at for trying to appear ITK, but I heard on numerous occasions at Arsenal that the players thought RVP was a complete idiot. They also couldn't believe Andre Santos was a professional footballer.
I don't know as much about Arsenal than about Liverpool, unfortunately.
To be honest, this is exactly the kind of stuff I want in autobiographies. It's hilarious.
And there can be no team-politics based on autobiographies. Ferguson's comments about Jordan Henderson were a low-blow, just as a recent example.
