So NOW can we finally put this "he's depressed" "Him and Rooney don't like it when they both score and the other doesn't" shit to bed? He gave the biggest bro hug around to Rooney, and he loved this game. So he should, he was fecking awesome.

When he was subbed off I loved him and Moyes little interaction and laughing... Cocky bastards I thought, still five minutes plus added time left.

Yeah, you can fake liking a player when talking in interviews and the like, but him going straight to Rooney to celebrate shows that they genuinely don't have any animosity between them.

Nonsense, didn't you see how unhappy he was? Cleraly he slid into Rooney's arms in the hope that his arch-enemy would smother him to death.

I did kind of notice he whispered something into his ear when they were on the floor. I may not have got a clear view of what he mouthed, but from those helpful lip reading classes I used to take, I figured he said that he was going to murder his wife and kids. Kind of deep if you ask me, man must be depressed or homicidal.

Koscielny casually walking past Van Persie, as though he doesn't know him. Both didn't shake hands.
Ahh, okay. Yeah, looks like they both knew a handshake wasn't happening, from that. I was just checking I wasn't supposed to be trying to lipread Wenger.

Someone should merge these two somehow...

Stolen from Arse forums....

What do you think is happening? @ RvP expression !!!

Look at his face.

Should add the chummy giggle with Moyes when he was subbed, straight after the "unhappy RvP who wants out".

"It was a good corner from Wazza," he added.

"I headed it but then it took a touch off my shoulder, then it went in.

"It didn't really matter whether it went in off my head or my shoulder. I am very happy with that head-shoulder goal."

Love the little dig at his own goal. Most footballers speak like robots, but its a genuine pleasure to hear Robin speak at any time. He's full of personality and emotion.

What a great guy. I hope we keep him forever, and he goes on to teach our kids how to be as good as him.

The scary thing is that him and Rooney still don't look too comfortable together yet, and that will only improve as the season goes on.

Will it necessarily improve? They played together last season too so I'm not sure more time will necessarily help.

Did he really say this after the game?

'Arsenal are my past now , I shown them respect last year and they didn't repay the favour, so I thought I'd celebrate today'

I think everyone forgot about what he brings, because of his slow start to this season (despite somehow still scoring bags of goals with 0 service). Just having him on the field gives all our players such a lift, through to the defence and goalkeeper. No second season syndrome here - this guy really is as close to a Cantona signing as we could have made. Amazing player, & I still cannot believe we have him. Every time I see his name on a Manchester United team sheet, I pinch myself.

I think that goal yesterday was THE goal - he's ready to kick on now, & go back to smashing them in left and right.

The best part about the game yesterday was his hold up play. Was almost as good as his performance at Madrid last season.

Any gifs of that turn he made in the 2nd half?

It's amazing how he can still surprise us. He's a world class footballer, Wenger put it right when he told Ferguson he didn't realise how good a player he was getting.

Amazing footballer. Genuinely honored to have seen him play for our club. He's command of the ball is frightening.

Definitely. It's not just about the fact that we still haven't seen him at his best (poor wingers, no service etc etc), but the fact that he is simply an incredible player. Some of the things he does, only he would be able to do - the volleys, the hold up play, the way he turns to find space etc. I think it's because he's one of the few players in the world who can do a few things better than the mighty Messi & Ronaldo (not saying he is even close to them as a player).

Anybody reckon he'll go down as a legend at this club? he's definitely on the right track. One of those players that you feel privileged to see play for the club you support.

A hero, yes. A legend? I don't think so.

In saying that, if he continues for another 3 or 4 years and we win another league or two, or even a European Cup, he could very well go down as one. A long way off though in my opinion.

Yeah I agree with EC. If he fires us to a couple more league titles and/or a European cup, then he will go down as a legend. Otherwise it is too late for him

Seems to have hit a better patch of form. Much better in his build-up play vs Arsenal.

Will start firing on all cylinders soon enough. Lord have mercy on other teams when he does.

He's fecking class. I just want to see him with a working midfield behind him.
