Ok, chief:
But...but...it was a World Cup qualifier!
Take that, duff!

First goal was a class goal.
Btw he also becomes Netherland's second highest goalscorer ever with these two goals. Just now two behind Kluivert's record of 40.
Can he hit the woodwork more times than last season ? Another great goal denied by the fecking crossbar

RVP is a full kit wanker.
He does not really like passing the ball to Rooney, does he?
72 goals in his last 101 club games going back to start of 2011-12 season.
Still think the service to him is poor. He does so well who he gets on the ball, like the lovely backheel for evra but we don't get him into good positions often enough.
He loves those balls, like the Giggsy one vs West Ham in the cup. That Rooney ball over the top is an example of the kinda service he thrives on. I remember Song always trying to find him like that and creating many chances like that.

As good as it could have been, I don't think it's more difficult then hitting it first time. Also, iirc, the Villa ball was played from further out but also at a "straighter" trajectory I.e the ball almost literally dropped over his shoulder. It would have been the goal of the season again if he'd scored. Possibly more difficult than the Villa goal.

He had service against palace, he was definitely having an off day though, kept muddling the ball under his feet.

And the one by Rooney in a CL away match which RVP scored thanks to a beautiful first touch. His movement is spot on despite not having the greatest of pace, his control of the ball is perfect, it's all set up to try to find him like that.
He did that like once very early on. I saw the game again. He was once again good when he got the ball, playing intellugent passes or providing good goal threat from difficult angles. I don't think he's out form at all, he's jugs not getting good enough service due to the wingers being poor right now.He had service against palace, he was definitely having an off day though, kept muddling the ball under his feet.
