I wish Rene wasn't so opinionated, sometimes; that interview kinda gives the impression that we're totally reliant on RVP's talent.
I liked the truthfullness of that interview, and I shared many of his views. Funnily, if you had said that on here last season though that we are perhaps not good enough and needed another world-class attacking player, I'm not sure what reception you would have gotten!

If you are talking about adjusting his body, then his goal against Stoke is also included. The way he just opened his body and let the ball come onto his left foot and just guided it past the keeper. What a player!

I'm willing to bet that the average Madrid supporter's first thought about playing us is not 'their defence has been very on and off this season and they're conceding far too many goals'. I'd always assumed it was the famous riff from the White Stripes' 'Seven Nation Army'. EDIT: But just realised that's a pretty recent (in football chant terms) tune, released 2003 or something like that I think. How old are those chants?
