Ronaldo's hardly a flat track bully though. If he wants to be then he can play that way, but he has so much more to his game than that. He's got pace, power, a great shot, but is great technically when it comes to aspects like dribbling, his touch and close control. To reduce Ronaldo to a flat track bully is massively underrating him. And if we're going to judge them by goals, then Ronaldo's record has been better than Van Persie's in recent times, even with Van Persie being at his best.
Ronaldo may not be as good as Messi, or near to being as good as him for that matter, but he's still a brilliant player in his own right who could go down as one of the all-time greats. Van Persie on the other hand is a world class striker who belongs in the grouping of the likes of Ibrahimovic and Falcao at the moment.
