Yes, he could have notched at least five more goals in the league alone had it not been for him being unselfish in front of goal, out-of-character misses, hitting the woodwork etc.

Quite frankly i think it's a brilliant post.
I bet he's been crossing off the days on his calendar for weeks now, waiting for that beautiful afternoon he gets to be marked by Titus Bramble.
Such a classy player, his movement off the ball today was brilliant and his deft touch to set up Rooney's goal was pure quality.
Looks like he is enjoying playing at the club and with Rooney too.
His turns in tight spaces remind me of Cantona.
Both his goal and assist today were as a result of his composure. Rooney had a nigh identical opportunity to RVP's goal, only blazed it wide with a hurried first time effort. Similarly, I think any other player fires the cross for Rooney's goal into the first defender rather than take that deft extra touch to take both defenders out of the game. Cantona indeed.
For me, it's clear that he absolutely loves playing with Rooney. They have some mutual respect for each other that they always try and help the other score. They're link up play is superb - I'm amazed at how quickly they've found their own wavelength.
