What I don't understand is, this series is the WORST thing for Pak/India cricket in terms of financial incentives, crowd attendance, etc. Who's going to want to broadcast the next series? Or any series? Who's going to want to watch it?
I think the PCB and that f*cking groundsman(!!) have done a lot of things wrong with this series and the ICC should have a stern word. But, more importantly, the people with the real power (i.e. sponsors) should have a stern word with them.

People forget Pathan is 20.. at that age barring a couple of series which having nothing for pacers, hes been brilliant for us. Consistantly has been getting us wickets with the new ball, and hes got genuine talent to be quality lower order batsman.
As a bowler i personally cant critisize him.. Wasim Akram had the likes of Imran Khan to take him under their wing and mentor him.. and then had a fast bowling partner like Waqar Younis. Whereas Pathan at the age of 21 is thrown into the frame as our main strike bowler and has, for the last two years had hardly any support from the other seamers.
As a batsman hes genuinly got the talent to be one of the best lower order batsman around. IMO hes probabily got one of the best defensive techniques in our team.. hes as compact as anyone.. he lofts as well as anyone, good hooker, puller, cover drives.. hes really got it all.. and now hes performing very consistantly with the bat. Hes got 3 nearly hundreds in his last 2 or 3 tests i think. Hopefully he continues this progress.
Hopefully Karachi will be slightly better.
