Crap pitch, shit match - boring as hell but Sehwag can be counted on to make anything fun. Second fastest double century of all time, reached it with 4 consecutive boundaries and an innings runrate of over 5 when we should be batting to save the match. Its official, the man is a maniac.

True I suppose. Though feck knows what possessed the pakis to make such a pitch. With the quality of their pacers you'd have expected a pitch where batsmen would be hopping around to Shoaib's short-pitched stuff. Even a dust bowl would've been better than this travesty.

Maybe...but its always been cold in Pakistan and we've played winter tests there before. Can't ever remember a joke of a pitch like this. If its so bad that they can't make a playble pitch, they should stop playing tests there this time of the year.

Not too difficult to figure. Political pressure meant we had to play Ganguly. None of Tendulkar, VVS, Dravid or Yuvraj could be dropped to make way for another opener, so we went into the match with just one. Someone had to partner Sehwag - it might as well be the best player of fast bowling in the team.

The wickets column was empty..and all that after Inzamam and co. had used all their gray cells to try and get India to be scared of the 'new' Akhtar.Looked the same bowler as a year back to me.Tunning up from 100 fecking yards and then bowling at the same line and length as Sami who's got to one of the worst bowlers Pakistan had.Akhtar's line was short and thereabouts.Getting it into the rib-cage might get you Ganguly's wicket but against a murderous Sehwag and Dravid, no chance.
