Redcafe Snooker

Well that's some way to come back from the disappointment of the last frame.

What a quality response. Ding has come a long way.

I don't say this lightly, but Ding is reminding me a lot of Ronnie right now. His breakbuilding has been superb & VERY easy on the eyes.

12-12. Game on!

It must feel terrible to have to just sit there and watch your lead disappear so quickly. Can't wait for more of this.

This has been brilliant. One of the best sessions I've seen in some time. Selby didn't do much wrong but Ding produced wonderful snooker. He showed some real mental strength to come back from losing that frame at 11-10 and take these last two frames like he did. Ding at the top of his game and in great mental state can beat anyone in the world even if the opponent is playing well himself. I really hope he goes the distance, he deserves it.

Absolute monster sesh. I saw Ding's worlds debut on TV and was floored that someone the same age as me was in a position like that. Would be amazing if he won.

It's incredible how poor this semi-final between Higgins and Hawkins is compared to the other one. Every frame seems to be decided by mistakes. Credit to Higgins for taking advantage and punishing the mistakes, but he's not playing well himself. He'd need to improve dramatically in the final.

Not even watching it tbh. Don't wanna ruin my appetite for the final session :D

That red into the middle from Selby  C'mon Ding, stop giving this guy chances!

If Selby wins this frame I think it will knock the stuffing out of Ding. There's only so many times you can keep coming back.

I have only watched snippets of Higgins vs Hawkins and I'm glad I've not seen much of it because it looks awful. Watched some of it today and it was just a matter of Hawkins being worse than Higgins, with a bid of bad luck for Hawkins thrown in on top of it.

Ding needs to win this frame or its over. Looks like he'll get it done though. I can see myself hardly even watching a Selby vs Higgins final.

Same here. It may be harsh on these two who are undoubtedly great players and amazing competitors, but I wouldn't expect a very enjoyable match between these two.

I'll probably tune in for the final session if it were close, but that's about it.

Stunning game. Well played to both! Hope Selby goes on to beat that cheating Scottish tosser.

Robboesque eruption of emotion.

But that was an awesome match, easily the best at the WC, possibly whole season. Kudos to Ding, has beaten Selby in safety department all over the match, but his potting luck deserted him in some unforunate times.

And well done Selby, massive respect for the guy, best player in the world, even if Honest John wins tomorrow/monday.

Fantastic match, too bad it's finished. Selby should beat Higgins but you never know. Ding is fantastic though. If he keeps improving, he'll get there sooner or later. He's only just turned 30, you'd almost forget that with how long he's been around.

The World Championship effectively ended for me yesterday. There's absolutely no way I'd watch a single second of a Selby v Higgins final. I can't think of anything more tedious and I dislike the two of them very much.

Can't wait myself, and luckily United game will finish before this starts. I'm not against Higgins as some of you guys might be, but would still like for Selby to win. John has his number at Crucible, but this year Mark showed us just that much more.

And apparently this is first final of multiple champions since 60s...?
