Redcafe Snooker

A timely reminder that once Selby took longer than a 147 to play the wrong shot and he wasn't even snookered

I reiterate my point that Allen should have got more crap than Selby for that torture of a game. Tried to out-Selby him ffs :wenger:

Anyways, come on Luca!

This frame sums up exactly what I don't like about Selby. Luca is matching him in the safety exchange, but he does it without walking around the table a million times. It's not his tactical style that's the problem, it's how fecking long he takes.

Spot on. If Luca can keep this tempo up he's got a great chance.

Luca needs to take advantage today while Selby is still struggling from last night, and so far he's doing exactly that. I expect a more rested Selby tomorrow.

Brilliant session from Luca.

Still only a quarter of the way through the final but delighted that he's got off to a good start and been able, so far, to play his natural game without Selby turning every frame into a slog.

Selby's got him right where he wants him.
 Many a true word spoken in jest. I’ve been on nights so missed this first session in bed. Just seen the score, no way Selby is out of this. Id love Brecel to win this now though. Be great for snooker.

Unbelievable stuff. I'm just waiting for Luca to crumble, where has this hot streak come from !? Surely inevitable he's going to feel the pressure sooner or later, no?

Wow, it's a funny old game. Great long red to get back into position, then misses that easy one. Thought he was gonna clear up and go 3-8. Selby at the table..

Luca Brecel has never, and will never, play as good as he's playing now. Got to make the most of this form. 5-9 currently as I type this, if he can keep that 4 frame buffer it would be lovely.

Brecel should get some of the maximum prize money. Helping it along with that crazy early shot.

Wasn’t that the previous frame? He narrowly missed a tricky but makeable red at the start of that one.
