I’m sure Davis said something along the lines of “even though mark plays some pretty tumescent snooker”.

It’s certainly not the kind of snooker you’d show someone in the hope they’d want to get in to the sport.

Yep. Honestly I bet when Selby’s kids have been naughty he punishes them by making them watch his snooker.

Surely Allen played the yellow in to the Green like that on purpose? It’s a shot you’d certainly play on the pool table and being left handed, the green being where it was would have been very difficult. Great shot.
 
I'm laughing at how ridiculous this match is, but it's another extraordinary comeback in the making. Some tournament this year.

I don't think so. You play that if the green is closer to the pocket. It wasn't. Only he knows. Under that pressure, it's absurd.
 
Colossal bottle job this one if Allen ends up winning this. Luca's might be better numerical, but given what's considered Selby's strength and how far ahead he was - this is utterly ludicrous. I thought Ronnie pulling off 3 in a row to beat was something, but 6 will it be?
 
Tense as feck this. I love it. Everyone had this semi final down as a borefest compared to the other but it looks likely to be a cracker.

It'll be a miracle if Allen can salvage anything from this frame. He's 64 behind and a bunch of reds are safe. Realistically, this is done.
 
He’s got to be this slow with the purpose of annoying his opponent surely? When he is in his stripe and putting balls he is up there with the best of them but all this walking around the table 3 or 4 times is so annoying.

Still feels a bit off for ex professionals to use that kind of language. Maybe they're just sick of his shit :lol:
 
Similar to in MMA, different styles in snooker make great matches. I honestly think the final will be a good watch. Brecel is unpredictable and fast and Selby will not change his game but he may get unsettled by it. Also a late finish tonight may see him a little tired tomorrow. Not sure.
 
So, cmon Brecel. Can’t take it away from Selby though, I know his style isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but he’s one hell of a competitor. Even Ronnie acknowledged that in his book, he nicknamed him The Torturer. Yeah want Brecel to win but I can’t see it personally. He makes too many mistakes. Selby will be all over them, he’ll let him hang himself.
