Redcafe Future Stars

Yeah, 5'5" but he's still 19. If he could get a couple more inches, it'd help a ton because he's a class player

I even see some Iniesta in him - incredible coolness in tight spaces

Son Heung-Min seems to be doing well this season

Neymar
Goetze
Ganso
Lucas

Wahbi Khazi has impressed me lately.

Oh, I like Nkoulo too, very very composed on the ball, reminds me a bit of Rio.

Deadcerts:
Paul Pogba - Will be Uniteds Main CM in a few years.

:(

Toni Kroos: future best midfielder on the planet.

Still stand by this, Chief?

Wouldnt say its as much of a gamble now, but still probably not the common idea. Shame this thread wasnt around a year and a half ago.

Ever Banega to be one of the top 5 central midfielders in the world within the next 4 years.

This, Ekeke?

And Matty James to be a solid player for us.

Whoops.

Gylfi Sigurdsson, Hoffenheim. In 3-5 years time he'll be the best all around set pieces taker in the world. Best at scoring from free kicks and one of the best at the rest. Hands down.

...

I'm gonna go for some random Irish bigging up.

I predict Shane Long will have established himself as a prolific mid-table Premier League goalscorer by the end of 2013. The Irish Darren Bent.

Decent prediction.

Hoilet from Blackburn
Obertan :nervous:
Kyle Walker
Paul Pogba

:nervous: Indeed.

I'm going to go out on a complete limb and guess

Jack Wilshere
Isco
Mario Gotze
Raphael Varane
Phil Jones

I know, I know, absolute madness, but feck it, I'm a risk taker!

And Matty James to be a solid player for us.

Meh, he looked great for a couple of years in the ressies and in his first loan, injuries really didn't help him.

Its interesting looking at the progression of some of the names here. I also still think Jose Baxter is going to be a very good player.

The guy I called out Wahbi Khazri, is doing pretty well in France, 4 goals and 7 assists in the french league so far this season

Scott Sinclair - Minkaro

DAMN YOU MANCINIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.

So I've been watching the French u19 team lately and I watched the u21s today to see if any of them have made the step up, and I was happy to see a few of the names that I recognised

2012_2013_17550_500091.jpg

Name - Layvin Kurzawa
Date of birth - 4 September 1992
National team - French u21
Position - Leftback
Club - Monaco
Appearances - 8
Info- Very good on the ball, good in the air, brave, and quick. Similar type of player to Patrice Evra

Lindsay_20ROSE.jpg

Name - Lindsay Rose
Date of birth - 8 February 1992 (
National team - French u21
Position - Central defender
Club - Valenciennes
Appearances - 7
Info - Strong, quick and good in the air. Rose is eligible to play for Mauritius if his dream of playing for France doesn't work out. Captained the team today VS Congo.

images

Name - Paul Madiba
Date of birth - 29 July 1992
National team - French u21
Position - Striker
Club - Auxerre
Appearances - 7
Info - Broke into the reserve team within 6 months of starting his trial, he as impressed enough to be given 7 games for the senior team, scoring two goals. Lightening quick, with a good first touch and plenty of skill. If Madiba doesn't make it in the French national team, he's sure to be called up to play for Cameroon.

2012_2013_17646_500075.jpg

Name - Neeskens Kebano
Date of birth - 10 March 1992
National team - French u21
Position - Winger, Attacking midfielder
Club - PSG (on loan at Caen)
Appearances - 8 for PSG/ 13 for Caen
Info - Quickest player I've seen at a youth tournament in a long time with an excellent first touch and can play anywhere in the top half of the pitch. Kebano was loaned out to Ligue 2 side Caen and has been one of their top performers in the last month or so of the campaign. He already has European experience with PSG, playing 3 times in the Europa League.

2012_2013_19607_500091.jpg

Name - Nampalys Mendy
Date of birth - 23 June 1992
National team - French u21
Position - Defensive midfielder
Club - Monaco
Appearances - 80
Info - Mendy has been dubbed as a ''carbon copy of Makalele'' and after watching him a few teams it's easy to see why. He's fearless in the tackle, despite his small stature. Dictates the tempo playing short passes, and always seems to be in the right place at the right time. With 80 appearances for Monaco by the age of 20. Potential world class player, and future captain of France.

Nice work Jake.

I would nominate Serge Gnabry from our youth/reserve side. He's a young German winger who has featured a few times for the first XI.

Four appearances at the age of 17, not bad at all. Has he broke into the reserves pretty much full time?

Irish Legend's predictions where really good.

From what I have read he has been a good performer for our Reserves this season, and even last season when be was given opportunities - but I stress I haven't watched him play, the onpy footage I have seen is highlights of some matches (impossible to catch reserve games here down in Australia). And others before him have impressed at youth/reserve level but have not kicked on.

Although he seems like a huge talent that won't fall by the way-side.

Another youngster that has Gooners excited is our young striker Chuba Akpom - scoring for fun at all levels and seems a class above at the moment. Once again though I only catch replay/highlights. But from what I have read he seems extremely highly rated.

Akpon is very good alright. I've watched him when he's played against our reserves. Scores for fun.

Plus he has the all important 'cool name factor.'

Akpom the bomb!

IrishLegend . In fairness, all those predictions ended up being wrong - but at the time they weren't awful shouts .

Good post Jake, thanks for the insight. Saw Mendy play before; really liked the look of him. Would love for United to get their hands on him, but not a hope sadly.

------------------Ahamada

I've been saying it for five years now. France are going to be one of the best teams in the world by the 2016 european cup. All these players are under the age of 21.

Which ones has he got wrong most of them are young and on the way to doing what he has said. Balotelli may prove him wrong.

Zouma and Varane.. The rest of them can be shit for all I care.

I've watched ter Stegen since he broke through late last season, he's a dead cert IMO. One of the reasons why Gladbach managed to stay in the Bundesliga. As for Draxler, he already plays like a seasoned pro. Lewis Holtby, Marco Reus and Son Heung-Min are also extremely impressive.

Not too bad...

Stick you're neck on the line one, I've always been very impressed with Jose Baxter when I've seen him.

I still think he'll be good, Oldham just what he needed!
