Redcafe Future Stars

I liked Kalas from Chelsea yesterday, they also have a big Ghanaian guy Pappoe or something like that too who missed yesterday's game.

Ahmed Musa
Joel Obi
Stanley Okoro

Hes a good shout albeit an obvious one.

You say that, but it was the first time he was mentioned in this thread of tens of names. Even though he was the youngest member of the team and imo the best player of the final, its Wickham and McEachran who get all the hype.

Heard so much about him, seen a bit of him here and there for Bayern but only 3 games or so and I wasn't really convinced. Didn't see any of him at Leverkusen.

Has he had a good season for Bayern?
His had an okay season, playing in a different role from his natural playmaker one. It's at Leverkusen thought where he was outstanding under Heynckes who seemed to know how to milk the best from him. Lucky for Kroos Heynckes will be at Bayern next season.

Jordi Alba (22) to be Spain's starting left back in the post-Joan Capdevila era. Recently made the under 21's squad and starts some games there for Valencia but isnt first choice.

Badstuber, Howedes, Kwadwo Asamoah, Coentrao, Illicic, Kroos, Hulk, Haruna as ones who (I think) haven't been mentioned, but many on here will think highly of.

I'm surprised there's so few mentions of Asamoah anywhere when we've got so many avid followers of Sanchez. I'd like to throw Adil Rami in there if only to raise a bit of awareness of him, because I think he's excellent, but he's 25 and I'd suggest the cut-off point for outfield players be 24.

Excellent, was going to make a thread asking about him as he has a pre-contract with Valencia, moving to Spain in the summer

He's that good then? I'd barely found any info on him other than he's supposedly one of the better CBs in Ligue 1. Cant say I've ever seen him myself so I hope thats true. Valencia sorely need a quality CB who can perhaps have the defence built around him. I believe he's tall, does he have any pace and does he communicate well enough to lead the defence?

Yeah I liked the look of him too his positional sense was excellent for a 17 year old and looks very composed on the ball aswell

I've never seen FM give more love to a player than they have Kroos the past few years, he turns insane in everyone since 08, he's gotta be pretty good to get it every year, I know they get one offs wrong all the time, but he plays in a biggish league and has gotten tremendous love for like 4 years now -_-

Prob be best player ever. Aaron Ramsey though imo, still a huge fan of his despite his slow return from injury, really hope he can find his form again, might be a welsh thing I dunno, but he was starting to look every bit as good as Wilshere has been prior to the injury, and had he not got injured, i think they would of sold Fabregas in the summer, if they get a legit DM behind those two, they could end up just as impressive as Xavi and Iniesta, broke through far younger, and will play together for a long long time probably, can't see either leaving. But they won't be able to lead them to glory unless Wenger stops being so stubborn.

Same as Carlos Vela then. Whats that got him in the real world?

I have to say though that Kroos does look a far better prospect, not that its hard.

Yeah, consistently impressive when I've seen him. Completely dominant aerially, very composed, a very capable ball player and a natural leader. I'd not highlight his pace as a strength but at the same time I wouldn't call it a weakness either. I'd heard the rumours about Valencia but wasn't sure how much truth was in them, it'd be a huge coup I reckon.

Would trust kouroux to know much more about him.

To be fair, McEachran is boss. I thought United did a good man-marking job on him overall, but he still kept on looking for the ball and produced some very clever passing.

Sounds exactly what they need, no wonder they chose to finally spend some money on a defender for the first time since 2008  back when Emery took over. Since then they've only taken free transfers for defenders and Navarro came back from his loan punishment for the Inter fiasco.

Its an undisclosed fee but the figure I've seen mentioned most often is somewhere around 10 million euros

Lille's France defender Adil Rami has signed for Primera Liga side Valencia, the Spanish club announced today.

The 25-year-old will be loaned back to Lille until the end of the season and will join Valencia in July.

Rami has signed a contract until 30 June, 2015, according to the club, but they gave no information on the transfer fee.

Lille had an an offer of €11 million from Marseille for Rami, but the player prefered to join Valencia, currently fourth in Spain's top division.

From Fifa.com in Jan

It would also seem to suit Valencia a lot as Jeremy Mathieu is their starting left back and Ricardo Costa played in france on loan last season. If I'm not mistaken he was even at Lille so may know and have played next to Rami. And hopefully Costa picked up some French so they can communicate better.

Navarro is currently Valencia's best CB and usually their captain but he's 30 now. So he may not stand in the way for too long of that partnership

Also there's Tino Costa who was bought from Montpellier, Sofiane Feghouli who is out on loan but should come back in for next season. So there should be a pretty good situation for Rami to come in and settle with some other French players and some French speakers. And Kevin Gameiro has been linked with Valencia for about a year, perhaps he'd be another to come in the summer

I'll add Zele Ismail to the list

Apparently Wolves turned down a £2.5m bid from Chelsea when he was 14.

Just recently signed his first professional contract.

Petrucci's on the list

He hasn't been nominated in the categories has he? The Superstars, The flops and so on!. Not by one poster, any reason other than his recent injury spell albeit long one. He seems to still have that class about him!. I think he'll be a superstar, just wanted to know why others don't share my optimism!

Add me for the Japanese Messi kid, whose video was posted a few weeks ago.

Also, Armin Bacinovic (Palermo).

Fair enough. Well he's missed the best part of 2 years with injuries so his name hasn't been banded around so much I guess. Even as a regular reserve watcher it would be a bit of a gamble to put your neck on the line and say he'll definitely make it!

Kind of a random bump I know but I wanted to add a few players. Some of them I have watched a lot while others I have watched very little, but all of them have impressed me at one time or another.

Julian Draxler - Schalke - 17
Marc Andre ter Stegen - Mönchengladbach - 19

I've watched ter Stegen since he broke through late last season, he's a dead cert IMO. One of the reasons why Gladbach managed to stay in the Bundesliga. As for Draxler, he already plays like a seasoned pro. Lewis Holtby, Marco Reus and Son Heung-Min are also extremely impressive.

I am pleased to see I am the only one who put my neck on the line for Eriksen.

My props will increase all the more for it when it comes to pass.

Kolbeinn Sigþórsson at Ajax, 21 year old, scored 5 goals in 5 games in the Eredsvisen!

should be there !

Thiago Alcantara
Goetze
Wilshire
Ross Barkley
Phil Jones

Dead Certs ^ To become one of the best in their positions :D

Nikita Rukavytsya. I'm willing to stick my neck on the line that he'll be a solid player.

Juan Bernat to become another in the long line of quality left sided players produced or developed at Valencia. 18 year old left footed small winger with some fight in himand Valencia are already showing a bit more confidence in him than they had with Isco. He started wide left in Valencia's first league game of the season against Racing Santander and has always done well for the youth Spanish setup.
