They'll fire me if I go to sleep now so i'll keep plugging away but i'll send UnitedFan a message to let him know he can pick when he comes online. I'll also ask him to PM his next pick and backup to someone at the bottom like you or Stretch so we can get past him tomorrow going down.

Mightberight, Interval and ha_rooney.. like these three teams so far

Right Aldo picks Mike Taylor.

I presume thats Mark Taylor. Still a bit of a surprise with a few better batsmen (in my opinion) in the draft but fair enough given the captaincy angle and slip fielding thrown in.

Fleming's a shock though. Just 20 tests and 75 wickets? Okay his average at 26 is pretty good but come on just look at his home and away figures and its obvious he's a tiger at home and a lamb abroad. As I said, a shock.

Yeah Mark Taylor.

Hattrick on debut, a few 5 wicket hauls in an innings to boot, batting average of around 20, bowling average of under 26. Compared with what's in there still to pick, I don't think he's out of place, really think he's a very good bowler.

I'm not knocking it...half the fun in the game is picking personal favourites and i'm hoping to pick a shocker myself assuming he stays till my turn if it comes around this year. My personal opinion though - I think there's a few better bowlers left and some of them Aussies.

:)

Fair play mate.

Bit of a flyboy, but fact is, he was good on any surface against any nation while playing in an ultra demoralised England team for the most part. He's every bit as good as James Anderson is up to now(though I think Jimmy will go past him if he keeps his recent form up, and improves even more away from home.)

And that's one of the bowlers I was talking about. Extremely entertaining and for me, the first man to bring reverse swing out of Pakistan.

Someone PM Omar to let him know...not that he's going to be picking tonight but even so. Also UnitedFan, please PM your pick to someone below you since you won't be around in the morning (for Europe) tomorrow?

There's no way my bowler will stay for the next 25 picks. But at this stage it would be bargain and then some for any team.

Okay. Come on you meatheads. Lets ensure it flows smooth today as well. Omar, Aldo, United fan and Zen, please PM me your pick before you'll disappear. Or in case KM has posted his choices, PM him.

BUT DO IT.

I will pick Shane Bond and Morne Morkel.

Great great picks. I considered Bond but he doesn't have too many tests on him. Only 18. But I guess leeway for injuries is acceptable.

I'm still surprised that both of them weren't gone. Both excellent pace bowlers

Nah 18 tests is defo not enough IMO. I rated Bond a lot but you can not start assumping what people's peak is from less than 20 tests.

I'll still take Bond over two three bowlers chosen in the draft so far.

Bond was my sleeper pick, was hoping to get him like 6 or 7th round, got some backups, but he was the one I was banking on, shame. Good pick.

I get that but I personally won't put Bond over someone like Gough. You can't just turn up for so few tests no matter how well you perform, consistency over a longer period has to count. Let's see how people vote.

I'm happy with my pace bowlers. All three of them provide something different.

Interisting pick on Bond. I was thinking of him last time I picked. But like has been said, he just didn't play enough and bowlers like him I thought would come up in later rounds. But hey. True pace man for sure and a strike bowler.

Morne I was thinking of too but won't pick him ahead of 1 or 2 other quicks that have been missed so far. Whilst Morne has been a good pick, he's also not quite lived up to his true potential yet. I fear someone like Donadol will pick the next pace bowler I want to pick. He's a sleeper in this draft. But from here on in picks will become interesting as the more obvious ones are gone. You need to dig deep now

I would've taken Bond or Akhtar in the last round, changed my mind to McDermott...the limitations with the former two are too glaring.

Bond does have the best strike rate ever in the modern game, though. Class bowler who always seemed to be at peak form when he played.

Never fear, by the time it reaches us, Debashish Mohanty will be looking hotter than Angelina Jolie in a G-string.

Actually, now that I'm looking at it, the next bowler I had shortlisted also didn't make it to 20 tests...it's getting tough out here. Soon we will be into Robin Peterson territory
