Let it go. I thought it matters how long a player played. But it doesn't.Yeah I would do this very differently if I could go back in time. Should have gone after the pace bowlers first. Still plenty of batsmen left but strike bowlers have all dried up.
I'd say it does but only when the players are almost equally good. If there's a big gulf in class, doesnt really come into the equation.
I regret picking him. I wanted to go for Harbhajan, but he got picked. I thought him playing more tests would be an advantage for him, over Swann. Obviously, i was dead wrong.
I think longevity matters to some degree - for Bond and Stuart Clark, for example, it has to be taken into account - but Swann's played 42 now, a fair amount really.
40+ tests is more than enough though. Had it been around the 20 mark, it should affect the votes. Lets see.
