I'm gonna use him as a middle order batsman, anyway. Just like Pakistan did in the WC92, who'll bowl and who's a magnificent captain.

How did you do this wizardry with the Stats, Crappy?
Can you do it for Imran for batting. By my reckoning he's batting average should be around 35-36. With added to his fielding, bowling and captaincy is good enough.

you can filter by date. his batting average is 41, i think. I'd checked it at the start of the draft
 
By my calculation, we will be scraping the bottom of the barrel by the time we have to pick our 6th player.

Shouldnt be much of an issue when the spinners in question are Murali and Kumble. They were a handful for any batting side. Excellent wicket takers with great economy rates. Not much else can be asked for in an ODI.
 
If you are going on average, he has an average of almost 40 with a strike rate of 92.4.
Even ganguly has an average of 41(striker rate of 73) and symonds is the better bowler. Symonds was much better fielder obviously. IMO Symonds in among top 30 players of all time and, at his best, he was a beast. I guess no one else rates him here, but still it really surprises me that people are taking likes of chanderpaul and yuvraj before him.
He has better average than yuvraj, better striker rate and was perhaps a better bowler as well. So please someone admit, that they made a mistake, so that I can sleep happily with the feeling of 1 up.
