Yeah he's currently probably the best one-day spinner around - Ajmal and Swann notwithstanding. However his batting seems to have fallen off a cliff.

He'll get you votes though. And brings you that unpredictability factor.

Don't think he will get votes tbh. Let's see! I never rated him too high - went with stats earlier, while now I'm going with perceptions.
 
I rate him as a better spinner than Swann in ODI.
 
Surprised you guys took so long to pick up Afridi, I'd have had him. Really good spinner that still has the ability to occasionally shock with the bat.

Yeah. He's a good fielder, excellent bowler and unpredictable bowler. Very good ODI Player.

We'll make a pool of all losers players. Then pick in the order of highest vote getters or reverse current order.

Or just let the lucky loser and already qualified team pick from non selected loser pool.

We should do group stage. It won't take much time, we can have 3 matches in a day.

2 groups of 3 and one group of 4.
That will be 12 matches in all to be completed in 4 days.
Then toppers of groups go through along with best second placed team for final 4.

Yeah. Though in my head they are fungible. Too similar in almost all aspects except probably Hussey has a better head on him.

omarlogic. IMO brett lee should've been picked ahead of akhtar as well.
Even stats back it up. Better average and strike rate
