Rules on cards affecting a next round are always that you have to decide before the next round begins, not before your turn finishes. You may be mixing up round and turn here (I do often enough!).

He probably didn't mention that bit because you had four possible options. My understanding of the mechanics is you drop WC/CL/Skizzo/Pat and repick from the category you picked that player in but without falling foul of the drop condition (i.e. WC/CL/Skizzo/Pat).

Seems pretty clear cut. You replace the player with someone from the dropped player's box who is «clean» w/regard to the drop criterion.

Essentially you will also have to pick a somewhat uninspiring player yourself this round.
The Pat box is the best for you as you don't lose a player I think.

I have no idea what's happening here. We drop a World Cup winner, then we pick someone from the box we picked up that WC winner in? If so, I'm fairly okay with it, as Vierchowod is my sacrificial lamb and I've got McGrath now anyway.

WC winners is the biggest damage so makes sense to use that box.
You are not following. I was wondering why Skizzo cared about the non-WC limitation as he has non-SAF United to contend with. I.e. doesn't affect him at all.

Should not. In this case will not is incorrect, quite clearly.
Can always PM rolls individually to non powercard holding players who have picked, but before doing it in public it should be confirmed no cards will be in play.

PM all non card holders that have already picked is alright so they can research and move on with the process but not affect the mechanics.
