:lol::lol:

Just read Klopp la's interview calling us for spending so much on Pogba, are they conveniently ignoring that as it stands they're the top spenders in the Premier League this window?

Net spend la.

I think Liverpool have won the "Ridicule Yourself" cup again. They just can't lose it, do they.

There's so much bitterness over at RAWK about us again and I love it - it's been missing for years!

I'm at work, hung-over, tired, and have my crazy ex adding to my current existential crises, yet reading the RAWK thread always brightens my day no end.

As for that lot going on about us over-spending, they did spunk £35m on Andy Carroll. It may be a 5 year old transfer, but it is the gift that keeps on giving.

:nervous:

No matter how much the resident Manchester United fans are trying to divert the topic of the discussion, that still won't change the fact that Pogba's transfer is a madness. Our manager has described it perfectly: "One injury, and everything goes through the chimney". They are as desperate as a 60 year old virgin, and the entire footballing world is laughing at them.
Keep talking about Mane as much as you want, he's a shrewd acquisition for us, but deep down you know that Juventus have taken you to the cleaners.

Pogba's fee keeps on increasing - Would be 1 Billion soon :annoyed:
no even mention of Pogbas signing on fee which sky are reporting will be the same as the agents fee .
They might be Mancs, but they are not stupid, at least not the ones who are posting here. They know that their club is vulnerable after 3 years of poor appointments and wild spending, and must be terrified by the idea that Mourinho of all people is the one that is expected to get it right. Their arse is twitching like a rabbit's nose.

it's a mad amount of money blah blah blah - they aren't wrong about that probably, but

1) players don't really get career limiting/ending injuries with the same regularity these days - and there's always the insurance, innit?
2) which of Utd's 'revenue streams' (vomit) is gonna collapse so badly to the extent of causing some kinda financial meltdown
3) why do they, Liverpool Football Club seem to be so (relatively speaking) skint like? la'

is what I'd be asking, if I could ever possibly

a) survive as an unbanned user of their forum for longer than 5 nano seconds

b) stop laughing at the ''council bin crew''

That PeterTheRed guy is amazing, he knows everything about everything. I actually think its Phase of Play under a new guise.

Including Real Madrid. Juventus fans appeared delighted to be losing Pogba aswell

They still have high revenues, but their financial model is overblown, and heavilly dependent on success, as their debt is still pretty high at over £400 million. They already had the highest wage bill in the Premier League that is only getting higher with their new highly paid signings. They are hoping that throwing money at the problem will somehow solve it, but it is actually getting worse.

You are still throwing big money on random expensive players that you don't really need. The Pogba transfer is no different to the Di Maria transfer. Basically, you have no plan in place.
But Klopp has it sussed

The best part is that you don't really undrrstand what your problem is. You are just throwing random players on a pile, hoping that it will somehow work out. It is quite surreal. Almost like a 10 year old getting the chance to play a real life game of Football Manager

Than again, you are Mancs after all, so maybe I am expecting a bit too much from you.
like spelling simple words correct when trying to be condescending

It's a shame there wasn't a global need for Poets or the RAWK community would be millionaires.

I think Zlatan's a marginally better footballer than Benteke
Pogba is a player I've never rated.
Rawkmatics
we're talking about simple maths:
(Jose + overly expensive signing+aged signing+ heaped expectation) - (quality managerial rivals such as Klopp, Pep, Conte, Wenger, Poch, Bilic etc) - (epic failure of a last season with Chelsea) - (same tactics and approach over the past few years) - (facing top managers of quality that thrive on playing without the ball) = Epic meltdown with weekly doses of whining, conspiracies, throwing players under the bus, and throwing club under the bus.
On Mourinho
I have always hated the prick, and the fact that the final episode of his downfall will take place at Manchester United of all clubs makes it even sweeter.

What's not logical or planned about buying great players in position we are lacking quality? Ibrahimovic is the perfect player for a season or two until young Rashford becomes ready. Pogba could become an absolute superstar and he's already damn good. He costs too much but that's not the point he's making. Mkhitaryan is also pure quality, he's hard working and he has end product. Bailly is a raw defender with great potential.

We could literally sign anyone and PeterTheRed would say it's not planned. What a plonk.

"They traded Rojo for Neymar, feckin' idiots, always loved Rojo........ Neymar's just a shiter Ronaldo anyway...."

I forgot about the "lads they sold to Sunderland, Everton and other small clubs for five times what they were worth" group.

Talking about Neville, Fletcher, O'Shea etc.
No mention of the players Liverpool bought from these same clubs for 10 times their worth such as Carroll and Benteke.

Loved the transition from "They're losing to Galatasary! they're terrible! A sign of things to come!" to "Meaningless game. Just a friendly. Wait till Klopp gets his hands on them"

They've desperately resorted to comparing Ibrahimovic and Benteke.

They will be lucky to finish in the top 4, and they would need to beat Arsenal and Tottenham to get there. At the moment, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool have better balanced squads and better managers.

When I look at RAWK, I realise the Liverpool on here are very sensible.

I've said it before that there are some good posters on there and it is spoiled by knobs like Andy@Allerton and JohhnoUnitedsincecreation. Seems they are onto the latest one.

Peter The Red trying way too hard in here, trying to get quoted by that obsessed RAWK Meltdown account on Twitter.

It's obvious now, mate.

Funny thing is that the guy quoting him (Kop81), is almost certainly a WUM.
