He's leaving via the road to Damocles too, the spacegoat.
The kid does make grown men dream about the possibilities, I'll pathetically admit.
Do I believe Coutinho would have a chance to be in Barca's first eleven, based on talent ? Yes, as much as Neymar has.
We're this close of having people here saying Coutinho is better than Pele and Messi combined
So is everyone going to play it cool and unconvinced or just accept that at the very least he's - at worst - equal to the likes of Reus, Goatse and Isco? ... Probably better.
How good is he? I don't think he's as good as Kagawa, Cazorla, or Bale for instance.
I'd say he's on par with Bale, possibly even better. He's not Ronaldo level yet but the signs are there that he could eclipse the Portuguese during the 13/14 season.

I fear Liverpool for the coming season. If Daniel Sturridge hits the ground running he can be every bit as good a Robin van Persie; Jordan Henderson has matured into the Touresque midfield powerhouse we all knew he could be, Stewart Downing's assist-assist statistics are the best in world football and Pepe Reina will no doubt once again make those golden gloves his own. My only doubts come from the fact that Suarez won't be with them any more; without him in the side, where are all the megs going to come from? At the end of the day though, if you count every time Liverpool hit the post last season as a goal then they'd be Champions of Europe; you can't argue with that. Man for man they've probably got the best first eleven in the Premier League on paper, all they need is for their luck to change and they'll be in the title race no doubt; the corrupted FA can't hold them back forever, especially now mister ferguson has relinquished his ill-begotten stranglehold on the game. Next year is Liverpool's year and, I'm sorry, but Manchester United won't be able to do anything about it; we need to come to terms with this and we need to come to terms with it quickly.
With Suarez leaving, I give it until the end of next season before Coutinho is proclaimed the best player in the world by them.
Have to say I cannot agree with any of this. I think you are seriously overestimating the ability of some of their players.
As for Coutinho coming close to Ronaldo - not a chance!!
;-) hahaha
Apt username.
Ohh, saw the whitetext now.
The sad thing is that it would constitute a sensible, well reasoned post on RAWK...
Seriously, how good is he? I am not watching a Liverpool game to find out, but I am curious about his ability.
Hopefully Thiago avoids the PL because he is going to be one fantastic footballer.
"Thiago wants to leave".
I wonder where he will go, if he does leave. I really hope he doesn't come to England .. apart from us.
Sorry, world class. Thiago Alcantara is world class. Really?
United need him the most but cant see him want to go there, their team is so boring and grey with Moyes as manager
Be an incredible signing for United.
Make them favorites for League if they get him.Come on he's not that good.
What a fool, of all teams to go not because he wont win stuff i have no doubt he will. He will not develop as good as he possible could be being at the Mancs. Xavi what 33? he is what 21/22? he could have easily been replacement.
He be back just like Pique was and Fab.

They have Brendan Rodgers managing them ffs

The Golden Gloves will soon be back where they rightfully belong.
I really though Moyes would go for some tall bullying MF to play hoof. Looks like he is going to disappoint us.
TBF a lot of our fans thought the same.
It's time to shit or get off the pot for a lot of Liverpool fans now actually. For what seems like an eternity they've clung to the notion that Fergie stepping aside would lead to our domination of the league coming to an end. They will be reach new levels of bitterness should Moyes carry on the tradition.
Andy@Allerton said:I used to absolutely love that fact that LFC gave nothing out over the years. We had an aura of mystery and it was exciting to see 'behind the scenes' every now and then. You could sense the journos at the time feeling the same. It was like Willy Wonka opening the gates and letting people in for ten minutes of amazement and wonder.
