Where's all their optimism come from? Once Suarez leaves at the end of the season they're buggered.

Nah they'll bring in Darren Bent for £-15 million pounds (sell suarez £40 mil, buy Bent £25 mil). We'll all be fecked.

You'd think they weren't sat in 11th, having won 3 games all season (which came against the 13th, 15th and 19th placed teams in the league). No wonder everyone thinks their fans are a joke.

Rafa came here as we became his project. The man refuses to be second best. His mentality is to win. The best manager in the world, managing the best team in the world, that he has created and sculpted, and are the dominate force in all European football. That’s his goal over the next 5 years. Doubtlessly.

My favourite quote from that thread

Im sure someone else will pick the rest of this post apart, but in response to your first question, what does winning the Champions League 7 years ago have to do with what we need now?

We just sacked a manager that won the Champions League seven months ago.

That is just beautiful!

I genuinely feel like crying.

So much in my head right now, don't even know where to begin.

ARARARAAAAAAgh Dowd you fecking fat c*nt, feck the feck off you twat

Dowd is fecking scum

trevor francis is a bell end!

TWO GODDAMN MOTHERfeckING PENALTIES IGNORED?! TWO?!!!

This. League. Is. Bent

I want to put my fist through Bale's face.

we make losing look good.

Thought the ref had a stinker there, twat.

I hate Bale, twat.

Thought we where the better team but still got beat, twat.

Seriously what is the point? Why bother following us?

Why the feck do they have it in for us?

There's the first two pages' best bits.

Comms on the radio says - well this ends a great spell being unbeaten for 8 games. Before the background lad piped up "5 draws though... Only 14 of a possible 24 points in that run.."

:lol::lol:

Wonder if they had genuine appeals. Knowing what to expect though - I don't think so.

It's fecking criminal that dowd is ref in the premier league, fat feck

Assaidi just looks like a Moroccan downing.

90 minutes again for Gerrard. The first thing Rodgers must have done when he arrived at the club was hand his balls to Steven.

Didn't watch LOL

We lost 4-0 last season, 2-1 this.

Progress.

Goodbye, cruel world!

My brother is a Spurs fan and moving to New Zeland on Saturday. Thank feck.

3 wins in 14. Progress.

Need to go unbeaten now till 2013. Very much achievable.

Yeah. There's only 5 weeks left of it.

Brendan Rodgers also blaming decisions for their loss. cnut has learnt quickly from RAWK.

That is alright in fairness for a team challenging for the top 4.

Rodgers: **spends 5 minutes saying how there was two stone wall penalties after Gerrard was assaulted and how Dempsey dived etcetc and how they yet again didn't get the run of the green and would have been disappointed by a draw, let alone a defeat**

**2 second pause**

Rodgers: We don't want to talk about refereeing decisions, I want to praise the players.

Almost December and they have 16 points from a possible 42 and are 4 points off the relegation zone. I didn't think they could top the comedy from last season but they're having a good go at it.

Did Brendan Rodgers really say "We had 65% possession tonight. To me, that's more important than goals."?

Can't wait to see Joe Allen's pass completion stats.

We won 10 corners to 1

Gareth Bale is now tied as our second highest league goal scorer. Seems to sum us up quite nicely.

I assume the Premier League referee checklist only has two items:

1. Incompetence
2. Ability to deny Luis Suarez all beneficial decisions

The standard in this league is laughable, they're supposed to be trained professionals.

Gareth Bale is a cheating fecking shitc**t.

It's a classic tonight, guys. Ref's a cnut, Bale's a cheat, Rodgers is clueless, FSG better spend in January, Suarez couldn't buy a penno coz of the media.

Brendan Rodgers: "I don't know what Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez have to do get a penalty. It was bordering on assault on Gerrard [Reds appealed when Gerrard was challenged by Mousa Dembele in the first half]".

"I'm disappointed for the players because they were all absolutely fantastic. Our play was relentless, outstanding."

Twit.

In all honesty top clubs appoint top managers who have achieved something in their jobs not apprentice managers who they "hope" will have a magic touch.
I have great respect for clubs history and none more than Liverpools but what they are doing now with their owners and managers is a total disgrace to their history. The sooner they get a real manager in there the sooner they can get back to offering something to football again.

It's brilliant having Rafa back.

Liverpool losing, United winning and Rafa failing to live up to the ridiculous hyperbole that has been spouted on RAWK during his unemployment - all on the same night. Triple whammy.

I reckon new managers at Liverpool are given a book called "how to get the fans on your side". They all spout the same bullshit and the fans lap it up.

Poor Roy was left off the mailing list.

"Liverpool arguably the 2nd most important club in the country" :D

And what incentive does a "real manager" have to go there? They play drab football with an average team and the owners have decided they don't want to spend too much after the lessons Kenny gave them with poor, overpriced signings. Liverpool will continue to decline now I think, especially so after Gerrard has gone. Not that he keeps them going, it's just there won't be any players truly loyal to Liverpool Football Club left.
