The mans a winner, he's waited 2 years, he's not some ex you can keep locked up in a hotel room on the promise that you might slip her a length in the future if your current bird turns to shit in the sack.

The next Liverpool Chelsea game is going to be pure gold... I can see Suarez, having been booked in the first half, getting fouled in the box and Rafa jumping up waving an imaginary yellow card, the ref booking the little cnut for diving and sending him off....

Please. Pretty please...

Jesus wept, this fickle bunch will now celebrate a Chelsea league title

Don't they always? They seem to celebrate any team that aren't United when they win the title over at RAWK.

Nights like tonight remind you of how far we have fallen.

Depressing.

I'm sick of this bullshit, play it out from the back tika taka bollocks.

We just drew at home to a team that's 5th from 10 teams in the Swiss league.

If that isn't confirmation of how war we've fallen, I don't know what is.

Maybe the players weren't aware they were winning with 5 minutes to play.

:wenger:

Just a few years ago we beat the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona .....

Now we have fans that think drawing against Young Boys is acceptable...... how low our fans standard has fallen.

just for the love of god get three points at swansea.

Rodgers has been working with them for around 5 months now and there's no evidence what so ever that they're learning anything.

Hahahah ended up a draw did it. Saw Joe Cole score and thought feck that. Depressing that a fat cnut like him can score in Europes 2nd tier competition.

The faint suggestion of Spring breeze caressed the reddened cheeks of our beautiful and fearless knight. Perhaps it was the last known remnant of a now faded 'El Nino' that brushed the face of our saint Steven. The glistening dew lighting up the hollowed turf with fine droplets of deep blue, as if they had been cried by the Virgin Mary herself could only surely be matched by the pools of our good Saint's deep eyes.

Caressing the ball with the delicate poise of a seasoned classical Sculptor, our own modern day Michelangelo manipulated the orb of destiny in a manner only Atlas could replicate. The mystical rotation through the air boasting a poetic sense of all that is fair and good. Purity and innocence cascading from it's rotating aura reflecting the hope and prayers of tens of thousand of loyal subjects as it is released from loving arms...breaths held, eyes dancing across our fine fortress, it can only point to the gods wrapping us all in their blankett of justice. Warm and tight. Our year. YAWN...

...RAWK describing a throw in.

Benitez (2007): I would never take Chelsea job

Ok anyone else seen this gem?

Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez's comments about Chelsea are coming back to haunt him.

Benitez was unveiled as new Blues manager yesterday.

However, back in 2007, Benitez declared: "Chelsea is a big club with fantastic players, every manager wants to coach a such a big team. But I would never take that job, in respect for my former team at Liverpool, no matter what. For me there is only one club in England, and that’s Liverpool.

"If Chelsea are naive and pure then I’m Little Red Riding Hood."

A double whammy.

Chelsea being shown up for the power-crazed outfit they are, and now Liverpool fans having to reconsider their previous good opinions on RB.

Yet more from the Shed End; it's really pathetic, these Rafa-fans-in-disguise signing-up just to laud the man:

What happens if he wins the Quintet of trophies available, and both guardiola and Mourinho is available in the summer.

I really have a feeling that this thread will soon become a rafa appreciation society, I want to see how long this takes, my money is 4 weeks from Sundays date.

The press conference was very composed, very confident, and to walk into this kind of hostility takes a lot of balls, and confidence of ability, this guy could deliver the most explosive season of success witnessed in English football and definently in Chelsea's History.

Got banned :( Not my most successful wind up :(

For whatever reason Benitez rubs Ferguson up the wrong way..the merest mention of his name seems to get him more agitated than a shout for last orders in The Govan Arms...anyone who has watched any amount of football over the past few years cant have failed to have noticed this ...but it doesn't seem to prevent his erm..admirers on here and elsewhere scratching their hands rather disingenuously and acting bemused at the notion of it.

My 50p's worth is that Benitez distrusts Ferguson for his powerful and detrimental influence on the game..and as a consequence of this Ferguson despises him for it.

Proof of the pudding is that he hasn't been involved with the English game for over two years now but he remains Ferguson's nemesis ...and personally I'd love to see Chelsea go to Old Trafford, twat United and prevent them from winning the league...because I wouldnt see it as a footballing victory for the West London arriviste gobshites...i'd see it as a personal victory for Rafa, a kick up the arse for Ferguson and a poke in the eye to the vermin in the media who took great delight in persecuting Benitez in order to gain favour with The Lord of The Flies

Mental.

Either that or Terry stops managing them, Roman buts out and he proves what RAWK has been going on about for nigh on 6 years now.

Jesus.

''Mac Funk Coff' was my banning message

A gem from F365:

Scared
It's amazing how frightened Ferguson is of what Rafa might do!

To this day , Rafa scares the sh*t out of ferguson. Ferguson knows if Rafa had the resources a couple of years ago, he would have won the league. Rafa should have got nowhere near challenging for the league with the squad he had. He had a great 11 (one which he put together - three of which are playing for the top two sides in the world at the mo). The squad paled in significance to the quad and wage bill that Ferguson had.

During his tenure, Rafa got Liverpool to 2 CL finals and he also called Ferguson to task is his so called 'fact rant'. It was the furthest thing from a 'rant' I've ever heard, it was a measured and accurate critique of Ferguson. If anyone doubts that last sentence, I challenge them to YouTube it, listen to it, and come back to F365 and say that it was a rant. Any honest, clear thinking person, will never say that it was a 'rant'. Insightful critique, yes, rant, never. Ferguson fears the sh*t out of Benitez, already he's passing snide comments and less than 48 hours have passed since Rafa's appointment. He knows now that Rafa is at Chelsea, if City don't win it, Chelsea will !

I for one love it !
Peter Kane

To be fair, he's spot on with his first paragraph. Ferguson clearly dislikes Benitez, and usually does 'lose it' (by this, I don't mean becomes mental, but he sometimes takes cheap shots at him that he wouldn't with another manager) when it comes to the Spaniard. I doubt it's because he's afraid or whatever, I just think he dislikes him because he's a twat. SAF gets on with most managers in the footballing world, Benitez seems to be an exception.

The fear part is just RAWK delusion to paint an even bigger image of FSW (if that's possible), the truth is Benitez only really pushed us close one season, Fergie's had to deal with much more serious footballing threats than him over the years, like Wenger and Mourinho, but there seems to be great respect between those nonetheless.
