"If Celtic can do that, twice, why cant they win the Champions League

This is a serious question " :wenger::wenger:

Definitely CL winning performance

Surprised they got the ball that much to be honest. It goes to show though, doesn't matter much of the ball you see if you make it count when you've got it.

Waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh waaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

The only row on that graphic that counts for anything is the top one.

If United won a CL Final with the stats in the left column would anyone enjoy it any less? feck no.

Well done Celtic.

They should all be respecting Fergie for being the only manager out of thousands who's somehow managed to put together and run this incredibly complex and sophisticated network of individuals and huge organisations, all willing to do whatever he asks of them.

Spot on. He should be given far more credit for his ability to pull all that above off than the Bush administration is given for orchestrating 9/11.

Note: For the record, I find 9/11 conspiracies insane, and SAF conspiraces as well.

No disrespect to Celtic at all.

I would have enjoyed the win immensely if I it was United instead of Celtic, but that is beside my point. Winning the CL by Celtic means pulling off 5-6 miracles like last night's together.

Well, it depends on their luck in the draw. With a bit of good fortune they could avoid the best sides until the semi-final. Remember, in 2008 Chelsea got the semis by beating Olympiakos and Fenerbahce.

They'd need miracles from the semi-final onwards though, in all probability. And getting that "Chelsea luck" with the draw would be a miracle in itself.

How is it possible to have 11% possession over 90 mins?

I mean even with a few long balls etc. you should be able to get to 20%.

The possesion thing is bullshit. It has been measured by the amount of passes which is really stupid. The percentage of possesion should be measured by the time teams had the ball, in which case Celtic had about 34%.

Shows, for me that high possession keep-ball is fecking boring. Love that Celtic one with those stats.

We're mssing out on an action-packed Europey League match, according to RAWK's in-game commentary:

26 - Joe Cole takes aim from 20 yards or so, but kicks air and falls to the ground as a defender pokes the ball away from him.

Does anyone know what Liverpool's Co-efficient is?

I mean if they went out in the group stage of Europa this year, would they be in pot 3/4 next time the CL comes around?

They're 18th at the moment with City one place behind. Assuming they don't qualify for the CL next season they'll be way down by the time they get back in; providing they ever actually manage that.

08/09 - 23 points
09/10 - 24.585
10/11 - 15.671
11/12 - 3.050
12/13 - 5.514

Edit: feck off Damien

RANDOM FACTS

Manchester United have won more Champions League Games in 6 weeks than Liverpool have won league games at Anfield in the whole of 2012.....

Manchester United have more CL points than Liverpool have Premier League points......

They all seem confident that things will turn around in January.

I wouldn't take any notice of last night given the team they had out. Wouldn't mind an upturn in form so they get something at Chelsea :jol:

If Liverpool do get Walcott and Zaha (which are rumours only I suppose) the. I think they will start to climb a bit.
