RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2012/2013)

The current poll on their is showing that 43% of RAWK think Luis Suarez is the best player in the premiership.

That said, Suarez is out of this world at times. There were glimpses reminisent of Maradona today. He didn't deserve not to win.

Jumping the gun their a bit lads?

On who are the worst fans in the country

Manchester United. Whenever they are about to loose it´s half empty within minutes..

..

Chelsea fans are the worst in the world, nevermind England. Man United don't have fans, they have paying customers.

..

On the PLS best team

Hart - Johnson, Kompany, Agger, Baines - Yaya, Wilshere - Hazard, Cazorla, Suarez - Van Perise.

The fact that they think they have better players then us is laughable.

Let's laugh at the most deluded kid on the internet...

He must have the mind of an elephant because I don't remember half the stuff he's brought up.

10 dives?
Rooney stamping on Arteta?
RvP should have got red?

I don't remember any of this.

He can also remember every single dive our players have allegedly done so far this season.

Simple, every yellow card offense we committed = red card in their eyes.

I just don't see the top 6 as doing well for Liverpool. Apart from last season they have always been around the top 6. The players they have are easily good enough for the top 6. Apart from the obvious 3 who are all the teams who are better then them? Finishing there would be par imo.

Its very very likely and it will happen imo.:annoyed:

Yeah, Rodgers has them playing good stuff tbf, they just need another player to chip in with some goals and one or two others.

what....., Hes not even the best player at Liverpool.
Heis good but he is a one trick pony and his finishing isnt great alot of the time.

I have just checked their poll, ridiculous.
There seems to be a few posts in the thread talking about being impartial.
They obviously arent, Rooney with 2 votes, just becasue they hate him.

I wonder if Suarez played for United and Rooney played for Liverpool how they would vote??

Delusion of the highest order

I'd say Liverpool fans would snatch your hand off for a top 6 finish this year. They dont have a good squad, not to be a cert for top 6 anyway. Whwn you're playing two teenagers on the wings, who are in their debut season, you can't claim to have a top 6 squad. Spurs, Arsenal and Everton all have better squads. When you see them bring on Downing and Henderson(cliche, I know) to try win a game, it shows how thin their squad is. However, with a few more signings like Allen, they'll improve lots.

Why is it likely?

The thing is they're keeping possession well enough and they have an obvious style which is a bonus.

But that squad is fecking woeful. Absolutely horrendous. They're not struggling with injuries massively yet either.

If they don't get in Europe this season, I'll be very interested in who stays.

Fair comment on the squad. But their first 11 is not a lot different in quality from the three teams you mentioned. If they avoid injures the least they should be finishing is 6th.

But first XI means nothing if you don't have good replacements. Their starting XI isn't even that good. Defence is good, as is midfield, but attack isn't so good. Suarez is admittedly great, but can waste a lot of chances. From what I've seen of Sterling, he just doesn't seem to justify the hype for me, but obviously he needs time. Suso looks tidy, but won't do anything out of the blue to make a goal out of nowhere. They really are struggling for goals, and I reckon they'll finish in 7th. If they could then pluck a few players like Cabaye and Ben Arfa, maybe even Walcott, they'll start to improve and could become a given for top 6, like Spurs are now. I don't think many Liverpool fans would complain about being a definite top 6 side in a year or two.

You'd be surprised. That would mean Europa League football for a few more years, and they're desperate to see their team back in the CL.

Remember how they used to refer the CL as 'their' competition

Ok, I'll rephrase that: "I don't think Liverpool fans should be complaining about being a definite top 6 side".

Liverpool are lucky in the sense that by their recent standards Arsenal and Spurs are not particularly strong at moment. And while of course I would love it to happen Everton are not good enough to finish in the top 4. Liverpool have had their worst start EVER in the PL and are currently 12th which is piss poor. They should be up there with the teams I mentioned.

So despite the fact they have failed to finish in the top 5 in each of the last 3 seasons, they believe they have 3 players that would make up the strongest 11 in the league. I can tolerate the Suarez bit but Johnson and Agger? feck off. Spastics.

The longer they stay out of the top four the better. They'll struggle to fund and attract the best players which will help perpetuate their mediocrity.

Suarez will likely be off this summer if they aren't in the CL next season.

I don't agree that Suarez is on PL best eleven. He had a great start but still has to prove that should be there.

Depends on how it's lining up. Assuming you have RVP as one striker, I could see cuntface slotting in behind him, although it's not locked on, as I think you can make a very good case for either caveman Carlos or possibly Mata in a 4-2-3-1.

In front 4 I would definitely have 4 of RVP, Rooney, Mata, Silva and Aguero before him. In 3 strikers system again RVP, Rooney and Aguero beats him. I think that it is too early for him to be considered in 2-3 best attacking players in Premier Leagu despite the good start. If he continues like this then yes for sure, but now we should not forget that he is playing good for only 2-3 months and had a bad year. Like in Rafael's case that many United fans are saying that he is the best RB in Premier League, here is the same. He should prove himself for at-least a season before he should recognized as one of the best players in PL (or the best like in RAWK).

I refuse to acknowledge that any premier league XI that contains Glen Johnson is anything more than a wind up, i kind of understand why they put Agger in, they think he's amazing and their too bitter to put Vidic instead, but to say that Hazard, Wilshere and Suarez would all be picked ahead of Silva is fecking bonkers

We say finishing 6th or above is a reach for them - but why? Their ability to lure players, transfer spend and wages are all top 6 or higher.

Why is so much slack cut to them? It's not like this is some bargain basement squad.

If I were Henry I would benchmark Rodgers on his performance relative to other teams who spend similarly on wages. That is, in the end, what determines how strong a squad is. If it over-performs, it's on the manager, and it it under-performs it is too.

So bent.

I am curious to know if all Liverpool fans are psuedo City fans these days? I don't come across many, in fact not any, but Steve McMahon just doesn't miss an opportunity to defend them and diss United.

I have a feeling that it might be true with many Liverpool fans.
