RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

If we were playing with two strikers I think he and Rooney would be our preferred starters.
Of course it would be ridicules to have 5 class strikers, and it would be sad to see Hernandez and Welbeck get less games...

He doesn't play like a proper striker though, you'd have to drop Young and play him in from the left. Suarez and Rooney would work the same as Rooney and Berbatov.

Edit: And personally I'd have Hernandez in over Suarez because he's good goal poacher and has one of the best shot to goal conversions in the league.

This is a serious question. What is the percentage of real Scousers that post there. Here, the percentage of real Mancs is pretty low I think, which provides a lot of the muppetry that goes on, but also far less of the bitterness.

What percentage of RAWK posters are actually from Liverpool? Have they ever done a poll or something like that to give some sort of idea?

I take offense to that Weaste. I'm no muppet! ;)

When I've seen him with Uruguay he's played like a proper striker, don't see why he can't do that although he seems to have a different role with Liverpool.
I think he could do a good job as a left or right forward too, in a 4-3-3 formation...

They're not taking Suarez's new ban too well!

Although one poster speaks sense

To be fair, Rooney got a two-match ban for swearing. Still seems a bit ridiculous, but we shouldn't pretend we're being victimised.

He'll be banned anytime now

I think they're taking it okay, considering it's RAWK.

Probably because they're starting to realise Suarez has only scored 1 goal in the last 11 league games...

They've closed their Suarez thread now....But started a new one

[On Reade & Evans] The very antipathy of solidarity. Shoulder to shoulder with an odious c*nt rather than one of our own.

Where is objective reasoning in such a stance?

...Yes where is it? Or indeed, where is it in that sentence? They are genuinely blind to their own hypocrisy. It's a form of illness.

It's funny how they've gone from 8 matches is ridiculous to "Suarez needs a rest anyway"

It’s the inconsistency that gets me.

RAWK says this:

My grievance is with the Club fine, apparently unprecedented, and with the charge and fine for surrounding the referree when it happens on a weekly basis in every ground in the country and nothing is done about it.

The inconsistency really is baffling. Fined for not controlling our players, well I look forward to seeing Wolves getting charged and fined aswell, but then again thats not going to happen is it?

Well they have set the standard now, they should follow them. Surround the ref = fined. Offensive gesture towards the crowd = one game ban or does that only apply for Liverpool FC and our players.

Show some fecking consistency you fecking c*nts

The 1 week is probably fair enough, absolutely laughable that English players have gone unpunished in the past though. They don't even bother trying to be consistent, just make it up as they go. The massive fines on the other hand are a joke. How come Manchester United aren't fined every week when they get that one slightly harsh decision against them per game? Will Wolves be fined for their conduct on the weekend? Will they feck.

Google says this:

Aug 2011: Newcastle and Arsenal have been fined by the Football Association after being found guilty of failing to control their players. Both teams have been fined £30,000 each by the association

October 2011: Chelsea fined £20,000 for failing to control players against QPR as John Terry race inquiry continues
Chelsea have been fined £20,000 by the Football Association after admitting a charge of "failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion" in last week's Premier League match against QPR.

December 2011: Seagulls hit it with big FA fine
Brighton have been hit with a £15,000 fine from the FA for failing to control their players in the Championship match against Southampton.

feck right off FA! And feck off Google you cnut!

Google and history have been well known conspirators against the Merseysiders. Words were invented by Sir Alex Ferguson to make up lies against Liverpool.

To be fair, the application of this failing to control players charge is a bit arbitrary to say the least. I'm sure we've all seen plenty of examples of similar reactions to poor decisions when no charges have been forthcoming; United's reaction to the ridiculous Newcastle penalty award being but one example.

Maybe the FA take note of the aggressiveness shown by protesting players - not a few of the Liverpool players looked like they were about to chin the ref.

TLW member about RAWK:

I've been a member for 7 or 8 years, never been banned. I got a warning once for laughing at a grown man after he explained that he went upstairs to his bedroom to cry after Benitez left.

RAWK has been banned by the FA.

Maybe Rafa's on RAWK & the server collapsed.

TLW member about RAWK:

I'm a member on TLW, usually they are much less retarded than RAWK but this Suarez ban has really hurted the Scouse fans intelligence.

I've always found TLW to be just as retarded as RAWK in the corruption/victimism/whining/paranoid stakes, just a bit less flowery and slightly less blind about Benitez.

90% of Liverpool fans are just like the ones on RAWK. Even my closest friends become blind when it comes to their team. It's like belief in God: in all other aspects of their lives they are rational, humane, lovely people, but when it comes to football they turn into blinkered, bitter cnuts. My friends wish injury on United players like Rawkites do. They cant wait for SAF to retire. Evra was called a lying French cnut. They're pretty much all the same. Mentalists.

I see TLW also loves RAWK.

RAWK: a warning from history

Fresh from my third expulsion - an IP ban, no less - from RAWK for the crime of criticising Andy Carroll and am looking to vent about this abomination of a 'discussion' forum. I wouldn't mind so much if I actually was doing trolling but, no, all it apparently takes to get yourself 'Watched' is deviate from the party path.

The place is an embarrassment. Recently of course we had RAWK does X-Factor, the fawning over bullshitter Tommo and the love poems to Rafa... is it any wonder LFC fans get so much stick generally when that gaff is a huge window onto a sizeable element of our support. A porthole which is constantly surrounded by fans of other clubs who crowd around, pissing themselves at the mongfest within.

It would be too easy to blame it all on the women and the gays and, whilst they certainly don't help, it's the mods on there with their Hitler complexes who are the real cnuts. I know TLW is relatively obscure but surely there would be some of their moderators who post on here as I would to ask a couple of (perfectly reasonable) questions.

Forget the conspiracy theories. Can we do that? Now and again the FA like to flex their muscles. Rooney got banned for shouting a swear word down the Sky cameras and they all went waaaaaaay over the bloody top about it. We got three or four days of your usual shock tabloid bloody outrage about it. Nothing more tedious than a tabloid shock drama. Blah blah role model blah blah.

Tell you what, why don't we stop buying tabloids?

Indeed. A 'Ferguson association' would have hardly banned one of his own players nine months for MISSING a drug test, whilst people who FAILED a drug test had less of a punishment.

A real "remember where you were" moment.

TLW is alright...It's got it's spastics like every forum but there are at least dissenting voices and tolerated discussion in their Suarez thread, which is more than can be said for the general promoted perception of Liverpool fans on Rawk, twitter & facebook over the last week. They also don't write love poetry to their manager.

Here's a post from their Suarez thread..

The stain of Heysel far from leaving us unharmed leaves us tainted in Europe to this day, and still remains our low point.

I agree with you that the race card has careered out of control- and there has been too little done on our part to reverse that. IF this hinged on linguistic ambiguity an early apology (still not offered) for unintentional offence caused may have gone a long way.

The reputation of LFC as a Club, and one of our players is at stake here. What is missing is, and has been, leadership.

RAWK could do well to look there to see what actually being objective & rational looks like. I'm not surprise some of them have been banned from there.

This whole thing is pissing me right off!!

Just had a row with the mrs cos she was saying 'he said negro 10 times so he must have meant it to be in a racist way'. I replied 'You know he said this for a fact?' to which she replied 'you're only bothered cos he's a Liverpool player. He's racist, get over it!' FFS, i've had to go into the other room....
