RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

rather pinpoint the new owners becasue we really don't know who calls the money shots. really. At least kenny has proven to be an astute manager. the owners never knew scoccer and has been quite silent for awhile. If they think by paying 100mil is enough to fix the shit that Hicks and Gillett has done to our club they need to be more hands on now. we are at 6th position and i think its fair enough given the outlay of funds of our nearly top attackers compared to the top teams who paid more for the respective positions.

So now it's the owners fault!

Oh RAWK, the gift that never stops giving...

Carroll cost minus £15 million remember. They need to spend some real money.

Every year you come to this thread & you think the previous year can't be surpassed and every year they manage it.

Surely this year will be the pinnacle?

I have to admit I thought the thread was losing steam, they'd become so lowly that they weren't freaking out over things like not being in the CL and buying players like Charlie Adam.

Of course I can't say I'm pleased they've gone insane like this, it's not worth the bit of amusement in this case, it's much more disturbing than it is funny.

Mark Bunn is actually 27.

The 17 year old in question is Adam Henley, who I think played LB?

My mate (Pool fan) texted me from Anfield: "They have 17-y-o debuting 2day. Don't look like scorin gainst *** keeper. fux sake!"

I put 2 and 2 together....

If we don't score against this abysmal Blackburn side with its gutted defence, I'll personally shit down the chimney of every one of the first team squad.

From their matchday thread.

Getting silly this now. Blackburn had half a team out there today and we still cant beat them.

If this was anybody else but Dalglish their would be some serious questions getting asked.

I think that's called the elephant in the room

Everyone saying we need to spend cash in January, but to be honest im not sure i trust Kenny with the purse any longer, the recent signings other than Luis have been shocking on the pitch!!

So sick of this feeling!
:smirk:

No wonder Redcafe has a thread about this place in meltdown I am absolutley cringing at some of what is being written.

And by the way, Suarez was fecking shite today but for some reason he seems to escape criticism but Carroll and Downing are just open to crazy abuse.

god Sammy Lee is a horrific looking creature.

If they hadn't just spent so much money they'd be screaming about purchases, it's really the only answer for your average muppet supporter.

The on the field results post-Dalglish fachts rant are similar to the post-Rafa fachts results. There's no way that all the players are comfortable with Liverpool's recent PR insanity.

People doubting Carrolls effort need there head checked. He was.back in our half tracking, throwing himself around for the overhead.kick and ecstatic when we scored, he clearly put a lot into that. The lad needs games and people knocking him relative to suarez are.making a fallacious argumentt. It was his first game in some time and im disappointed people are having a go.

He was ecstatic when they scored. Fantastic!

It's a deep fried Mars Bar for half time. He's not allowed to eat them so he's smuggled it in the only way he could think of.

Hmm, I have to admit, it almost seems like Liverpool are cursed, the saves and misses this season are hilarious for us. If I was a Liverpool fan, the annoying thing would be they've probably deserved a few more points but it's just not working.

Still it's funny. I'm glad it looks like Maxi and Kuyt are on their way out. They're pretty average but good for a goal.

These twats need to sort themselves out by next weekend so they can pose some challenge to City.

It's also hilarious that after buying Shane Long and having the second lowest spend in the league (ahead of just Everton), Roy Hodgson has gotten West Brom to 9th, and just stopped City scoring for the first time. They gave us a bloody fight as well.

Delighted for him. Was he good enough for Liverpool? no. But it wasn't fair how little support he got, it just made things impossible for him.

Since Hodgson took over at WBA, he's had 30 matches in the league. Won 11 of them. Drew 9. Lost 10

Since that period, Dalglish has won 14, drew 8, and lost 7.

Dalglish has picked up 1.7 points a game with Liverpool

Hodgson 1.4 points a game with West Brom.

Considering the difference in the squads, and the difference in money available to them, it certainly doesn't show a massive gulf in quality between the two clubs.

Now would I want Hodgson at United? No. But I think Liverpool fans were certainly harsher with Roy than they would have been with a lot of other managers. He isn't the greatest ever, but in the few years he's been in the prem with Fulham and WBA he's certainly been shrewd enough and done enough to be given a little bit of respect.
