RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

At United, no one is bigger than the club. At Liverpool, many men are bigger than the club. Only Rafa because he's fat.

If depends on what targets they set the new manager. They might say top 10, they might say top 4. Its not as easy as saying Kenny got sacked for 8th so everyone gets sacked for 8th. Expectation's from FSG can be raised and lowered.

Why sack Kenny then if they're lowering expectations? Are you stupid?

Poorly worded response.

6 points less than Rafa's first season. 6 points. 6. Thats 2 wins. You tell me that there's not been 2 games we should have won but didn't. Please do. Every person who wanted Rafa out and Kenny out, you're ruining Liverpool FC, please feck off forever

The decisions they have made regarding both Comolli and Dalglish have proved beyond doubt that they know nothing about football and how the team was progressing...

It took Rafa 3 years to build his empire, it took Roy 6 months to burn Rome. It took Kenny 6 months to repair it and now FSG have gone and fecked it. Goodbye football.

I wish Kenny was still there, it made me laugh.

Had to laugh at Andy's signature, as he laments the passing of Kenny the freaking Dalglish:

Roll on next season. Kenny's Army are coming up the hill, boys.

Let me try and think about this from a Liverpool fan's POV.

Liverpool should be competing for the title every year.
Liverpool belongs in the Champions League.
Liverpool spend more than every team in England besides the oil ones to try and make that happen.
Liverpool don't manage to qualify for Europe via league 2 years in a row and that's okay. It's not the managers fault. It's everything else. The goddamn posts and the refs.

It took Rafa 3 years to build his empire, it took Roy 6 months to burn Rome. It took Kenny 6 months to repair it and now FSG have gone and fecked it. Goodbye football.

That seems a reasoned response.

Talksport slagging off Daglish and his record. However, its the way that he undermined Roy from minute 1 that they dislike the most.

Roy = England job
KKK = no job

You really couldn't make this up.

Who is Tyrion?

It's so obvious: Dalglish laid the groundwork by instilling the right mentality and by making shrewd moves in the transfer market. The new manager will reap the rewards of his hard work and unwavering dedication.

They could theoretically win the league in 20 years after a sixth managerial change and these clowns would find a way to congratulate Kenny and Rafa for the success.

If you want some pure, unadulterated lunacy with your Kenny lamentations, look no further than their United thread (now locked for idiocy; even RAWK has its limits, it seeems) --

You can see how the tramp's worked up the frenzy, and in a way is trying to deflect attention from his gang of thugs and xenophobes, and how poor and shitty they've been this year.

I would rather Alec McLeish than someone like Ferguson.

Thatcher is Ferguson in drag.

Xenophobes?

A putt that is an inch short doesn't go in the hole, a field goal that hits the bar is no good, a basketball that hits the rim is worth no points, a puck cleared off the line isn't a goal, a ball off the wall isn't a home run.

But in Aussie Rules here down under, missing the goal is worth 1 point..

The weirdest thing is, once again, it's not just RAWK but otherwise intelligent people that fail to see what everyone else see's.

I just don't understand it. Their unwavering love and support for the man has truly, truly blinded them. Someone posts the actual facts on RAWK and they get shot to shit, no one even dares addressing the actual points being made, just cries of 'you don't understand the club,' and the like can be read.

The ridiculous excuses they are all making are quite simply mind boggling: 'not enough time, only his first full season.' 'needs more backing in the transfer market.' 'actual results aside we've been playing brilliant football.' 'three trips to Wembley, two cup finals, one win.' 'woodwork.' etc. etc. et-fecking-c.

The facts are the fool has had a season and a half in charge to steady the ship, but instead he's taken them backwards. No League Cup can deflect away from this, try as RAWK might to use it as a sign of true progress.

He has constantly embarrassed himself and the club within the media, week in week out. No doubting that other managers do the same from time to time, but Dalglish took it too the next level... Frequently. He was a walking PR disaster. It really was just like one of the idiot fans taking over.

His excuses for their form and points tally was just mind-boggling. One moment he was proclaiming to all that they had the fittest squad in the League. The next he's blaming tiredness for their continual string of shit results... Tiredness... One week ago they were the fittest squad in the League. They didn't even have European fixtures to take into calculation... The mind simply boggles. Did he really think he could pull the wool over the eyes of the masses? Let alone the rich, cut-throat, result-oriented, no-bullshit-taking owners of the club? And that's not even getting into the whole Suarez horror-showing, t-shirts 'n all.

He cried conspiracy, woodwork, injuries and luck too. Absolutely laughable. Especially considering the injury troubles sides ahead of them had to contend with.

There was no discernible game-plan, tactics chopped and changed. He played five defenders at home v Stoke (I think it was)... FIVE DEFENDERS AT HOME? But then the fans will cry foul about how thin the squad is... It's fecking thin because 130 million was spend on half a dozen players, most of which are simply not good enough-to rubbish. But the die hard fans, of course, will blame Comolli, despite the fact Dalglish has publicly stated that he chose the targets.

Like I said previously: it seems every single supporter or every club in the League, including Liverpool, wanted Dalglish to stay.. That surely says something.

The RAWKERS keep on harping on about how those that wanted him out don't understand the club. They don't know what it's about. Well if it's about humiliating themselves, regressing into a middle-of-the-road club with no ambition bar a late cup run in the mickey-cup, lowering the real expectations (laughably exactly akin to Hodgson, who only got lambasted and hated for it), and vaunting such accomplishments as 'two cup finals,' then fair fecks to them. They're much much more deluded than I thought. They are ridiculous.

They are so delusional they actually debate whether it would be a good idea to bring Jurgen Klopp in.

As if he would even entertain the idea of swapping Dortmund for that.

Looking at RAWK this morning, it is incredible to see the vast majority against the sacking. Any other manager would have been getting the Steve Kean treatment three months into last season. They really were happy to stick by their King while he dragged the club down as far as he could. And now he's gone.

You bastards, FSG, you utter bastards. We had them exactly where we wanted them.

Jesus Christ! The most ridiculous thing i've read in this thread.

Are you aware how unbalanced the squad he left behind was. Take your Istanbul glasses off and remember the barmy decision making of his last season. The alienation of key players. He'd done the same at Valencia where the key players hated him. The scattergun turnaround policy of buying loads in the hope that for every Voronin, Dossena, Gonzalez, Josemi, Nunez..... you might find an Alonso. His incredible refusal to accept any blame when things went wrong, poor performance, players fault, bad signings, someone else's fault, success, all down to me.

It's not going to happen. Get over it. FFS we're always accused of forever looking back, look to the future.

Re: the re-appointment of Rafa.

Wonder what kind of responses he'll get?
