RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

feck off. This isn't the club I know.

We've become Chelsea. Get your plastic flags out lads, this is the way its gonna be.

This is dreadful. Can't believe it. If he's been sacked the owners could rue the day.

What a mess & such a sad day we sack a legend. FSG they sack who they want.

A dark day for the club...the final nail in the coffin of 'the liverpool way.'

god bless you Kenny...you will always be loved. :(

Joke club.

c*nts running it want to get the fecking house in order before placing blame.

Build a dynasty on no foundations. feck off, clueless twats.

2 cup finals, 1 cup win. Sacked. Load of bollocks.

Team a mess, no staff & now fans split.... well done FSG.

STILL THE KING ALWAYS WILL BE THE KING.

bring back RAFA please.

..

RAWK has it that he's left his post. Sky and the mirror say he was sacked.

To be fair, if it wasn't for the whole racism thing I'd be a big gutted that they seem to be going down the pan. Of course it's funny - but having them somewhat competative makes it all good.

But due to recent events, I hope they do a Leeds, I really do.

Hows this for a quote from a film to describe this situation. From the film Airplane:-

"There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?"

Fantastic stuff. Rafa coming back? or Martinez moves from Wigan?

Though it seems my prediction was wrong, I thought he would be given the chance to step down and take a job in the front office someplace, for a year or two , just a public relations type job. Instead it appears all links are being cut.

It's just dawned on me how damaging the defeat at Swansea could be. It would have been good to end the season on a high by thumping Chelsea. Kenny's job probably would have been pretty safe and we could have gone into the summer with more positivity. I sincerely hope that loss at Swansea does not cause a nasty hangover that results in the King losing his job.

That was the first I knew of that result - after the 3rd City goal I turned off my computer and went for a walk :(

If it was anybody else, they would be loving this moment right now. Simple as, they spent loads of money on mediocre players and finished 8th with only 6 home wins all season. Regardless of how they done in the cups, that is absolutely shocking.

Oh fecking marvelous.

I take it we're going to see a string of appointments in the coming days then, CEO, DOF, Manager, head of medical team, head press officer, head scout, etc.

fecking shambles.

everyone calm down. this isn't the owners smearing shit in dalglish's face. if kenny is installed as director of football he's the perfect man for the job. only one man to replace kenny. rafa

Rafa is perfect for their way of thinking. They have to get him back.

This spell has done nothing to diminish King Kenny`s reputation. He will always be our biggest legend.

Really, really sad. The precedent is set, if the next guy is not an instant success he's gone.

So how long does the next guy get then? Kenny had 1 season where he got to 2 finals, won one of them. Yeah the league form was bad, but we weren't woeful all season.

I'm really quite angry.

It was only a few weeks ago Werner said Kenny was in our long term plans.

More American lies!

Best of luck Kenny, I will always love you-ouuuu

See what a few extra inches onto the goalposts would have done? Saved Kenny

Some body just emailed SSN and said about having hit the woodwork 38 times and how different their position would be if they had gone in.

The King is dead......Long live the King.

Lets see who the next pretender is now, as I think it will be who it is, as to weather all fans or just a few turn on the owners.

I'm quite dissapointed to be fair, but I can also see why they've parted company. I'd of like to of seen Kenny get at least another year, but thats not to be.

John Henry. I'D BETTER BE IMPRESSED!

The ONLY way this can finish well with fans now would be to bring Rafa back. But I am just completely stunned. Why do it now? And even if we do approach another manager, we have no structure. They probably wouldn't even know who they would be working with. Scouts? Director of Football?

Really hoping FSG have had some kind of plan, rather than just go with it after this meeting in Boston

@SiClancy: Approach made to another manager in Premier League employment according to Sky News #LFC

FFS :butt

Fear this might have implications for players like Carroll and Henderson. Kenny had a lot of faith in them and I thought he looked like he was building something with them. I hope whoever comes in next persists with them as they've both shown what they can do at times this season.

:(

Only AVB, Guardiola or Rafa are acceptable replacements.

They have a good CV and deep knowledge. All other managers can feck right off.

Cannot welcome anyone except Benitez now that Kenny is not here ! No Martini's or ROdgers

Incredible.

We're looking for our FOURTH MANAGER in TWO YEARS.

And why is that? Rafa should never have been sacked.

This means the end of Suarez also? His biggest defender is gone, will the club cut all ties with their racist embarrassment?

If only. The RAWK outrage to that would be hilarious.

feck FSG THE feckING BUNCH OF c*nts!!!!!!

WHAT THE feck HAVE THEY DONE FOR THIS CLUB!!!!!! SPENT NOTHING NO STADIUM NO CLASS AND SACKED A LIVING LEGEND AFTER ONE SEASON!!!!!!

c*nts THE LOT OF THEM!!!!

..

They are all in meltdown at the prospect of Martinez. Excellent. A sensible manager who will be undermined by their blind support for Dalglish. Just like they did when Rafa was sacked.

At this point it will be a very difficult job for whoever gets it.

They aren't mentioning Jose yet?

Nope. No mention at all.

I'm telling you now, it's gonna be Martinez.
It's been all over internet, and Dave Whelan did an interview on Talkshite this morning that now makes sense.
FSG can feck right off as far as I'm concerned.
They've torn the club apart in the last month.

If it's Martinez then we're a joke.

They should continue this theme of bringing back managers and go for Souness next.

This is fecking insane. I cannot believe that they think this is the way to do business in the football world. Have they even got anyone with an ounce of experience in football advising them at the moment?

Come 5pm, the plan had better be fecking laid out. The next manager, whoever it is, has to have stability and be safe in the knowledge that he's got more than 1 season to get it right. Or what's the cnuting point?

feck football. feck it in it's stupid, skywashed face.

..

Yet again, it's everybody elses fault. Nothing to do with Liverpools expenditure under Kenny and the league position/performances/woodwork

How will they react if they bring in a half competent manager who somehow gets them back into the top 4?

"it was Kenny's side he inherited, without Carroll, Downing, Henderson and Adam we wouldn't have been close"

Shed a tear. I wasn't one of those who wanted him gone, or even questioned him. Hope you disloyal pricks who spoke against him realise the implications of this.

To repeat VdM 'do they have the moral authority' to do this to Kenny? Leaving the club completely means a rather big disagreement.

All I can say is the owners better have a damn good explanation and a damn good plan or they run a serious risk of being branded the new Hicks & Gillet.

They need to move quickly if they want to actually keep the supporters on side, dangerous game.

Paul Dalglish

"The last thing my dad wants is to leave at this stage. More than anything he wants a chance to consolidate and better upon what has gone on this season. He has a long-term plan, and in my opinion, it would be incredibly short sighted - and also extremely telling - if he didn't get a chance to execute it. I'm confident he will get that chance but it's not down to us."

actually, they spent over a 100m on players that the manager wanted. The players didn't perform. The team had a historically awful season. And he had a year and a half.

Seems like many folks on this forum support KD more than they support LFC.

which drew the response

Oh get a fecking clue mate.
