He has shown great progress over the season. Just like the entire team.
http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=292744.msg10240681#msg10240681I think Rafa at Barcelona would be an unstoppable force. If he can get a team of their quality playing with the same pace we did under him they really would be the best team ever. I think when we were at are best under him we were the best footballing side in the world, so to combine that with the quality at Barca would be an awesome sight to behold. Plus I think he always had an answer for Mourinho in big games. If Barcas chiefs are smart I think they'll see this.
"We have to get used to playing City in important games. The financial support they have means we'll meet them in a lot of big games. Therefore, if we're going to be contesting with them for the league title it will become almost as important as the Liverpool derbies. In fact, this supercedes Liverpool at the moment because they're our direct opponents. We have to focus on the team who can affect our progress in terms of winning the league.
Once more unto the giro, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall to keep the authorities out.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As collecting money paid because we don't have a job:
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
A Scouser attempting a conspiracy theory
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as a Scouser attempting to use their brain
O'erhang and jutty his confused base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful nonsense.
Now we must set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath against their fetid smell,
To your full amount. On, on, you noblest Scousers.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of scum!
Absent fathers that, like so many Liverpudlians,
Have in these parts been lost to unemployment
And sheathed their swords for lack of brains:
And you, good Dalglish,
Whose brain is but mere mush, show us here
The slum in which you live; let us swear
That you are worth your in-breeding; which I doubt;
For all of your moaning at referrees,
You hath not indeed a noble excuse.
I see you stand in that dole queue,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God we're unemployed, we're shit, we're eighth!"
Sorry Henry V.
Really bad, but I did my best trying to keep that in iambic pentameter
Any reaction on RAWK to SAF's statement?
I thought this was a wum, but the post history implies this is serious:

There's gonna to be some classic posts because of SAF's statement!
Excellent
in good company on RAWK then, MG - they butcher the english language every dayIt wasn't that good, poetry isn't my strongest point and I really butchered Henry V there.
I do believe that Carroll can come good. He does work hard, and obviously cares about the way he performs.
I wouldn't say he's absolutely incapable of pass and move football. At 23, he's still eligible for Young player awards, and young players do have some way to go before they reach their full game intelligence.
Pass and move and movement can still be taught to him(if you insist he is incapable of it now). Who's the best target man around anyway? Drogba?
At 23 he was at Guingamp, wherever the feck that is. I don't think it was in the topflight in france. He scored 10 goals in 35 games for Guingamp and Lemans that season. Carroll scored 10 in half a season for newcastle in the topflight when he was 22. When Drogba was 22 he scored 1 in 14. In Ligue 2.
Newcastle aren't exactly stoke either.
Give the lad a chance, don't blame him for his price tag.
27 successful crosses in 32 games... best crosser in the league.
20m...... 20m!!!!!..
(not sure if he did get that assist at QPR..)
I just love A@A's continual referral to the fact KK is in his 'first FULL season back.'
FFS, he's had half a year to thoroughly sound out the problems that needed rectifying. Half a season to prepare themselves for this very campaign, to sound out his targets and work on his game plan. He ended up spunking over 50 million on the midfield whilst actually making it worse.
How that absolute plonker can't see any fault being KK's is simply just beyond me.
Then they talk about how hard done-by they are what with their 'injuries' and the suspension to Suarez. Simply if Suarez wasn't a cnut he wouldn't have been suspended, you thick fecks. As for the injuries, they've had it sweet compared to other clubs in the top four.
No where near the top 4...
Could be 10th by the end of the day!
"Luis Suarez you know who you are?" Really? Our lad's been tarred and feathered this year...
Gerrard, Henderson and Shelvey conquering the midfield like their own park... Three midfielders to outnumber Chelsea
Enslave the Blues... Enslave them you Mighty Reds!!" (Talk this in an Optimus Prime voice). "Enslave them!!
boss game. boss goals. suarez is boss. boss.
He didn't play excellently. I've already acknowledged the block, what else did he do? There was no serious pressure on our defence from Norwich attacks. He frequently lost possession of the football playing it long unnecessarily when we should have been building attacks out from the back.
We've had a season of complacency, a gluttony of blown chances, miscommunications and unconfident behaviour from our players, and to me today was no different. Without the brilliance of Suarez taking a clinical edge, today would have turned out exactly like how so many other games this season have - and ignoring the glaring lack of ability of our team to play properly CONSISTENTLY, all the way through a match, will not help. Our midfield and defence struggled all game to play the ball out from the back, and the willingness of Carragher to play with all the directness of a blunt sledgehammer certainly did not add to the proceedings.
All three of the goals came from capitalising on mistakes in the Norwich defence, and a lot of our attacks ended in stupid misplacements of the ball, or teammates not reading each other correctly, always resulting in a return to Norwich possession. True, we had some very nice attacking moves, especially in the second half, but the first was fraught with nervy clearances up-field and a physical inability to play over the halfway line. Carragher wasn't the only one, but we need a playing style that isn't dependant on individual brilliance to score us goals.
Torres still only scoring against Championship opposition.
Yep, Barcelona are defintely Championship quality.
BTW Chelsea fans are fecking c*nts. now they are singing 'Anton whats the score?'
Doesn't the booing of Ferdinand count as racial abuse?
What justification do Chelsea fans have for booing Ferdinand? We believed Evra lied as there was no evidence whatsoever.
How many times in a match does Sturridge misplace a pass or get tackled, so many attacks break down with him!
Wrong thread.
What gets me about Liverpool fans is that they think they stole Jordan Henderson from under our noses. No, if we had actually wanted Henderson we would have got him. We didn't want him you delusional morons.
They actually think that?!
They're a wee bit bitter about the Torres hat-trick, seeing as they play Chelsea in the final next week - some of them are shitting themselves
20m...... 20m!!!!!..

Wonder what they will make of their season if they do not win the F.A Cup. Some of them think they have won it already. Being out of the CL places will impact on the quality of player they can sign. Try getting that into their thick skulls though.
I know, nearly all of RAWK have been going on about winning the FA Cup for weeks now, like it's already a done deal. Chelsea are usually very good at Wembley and very good in FA Cup finals. Doesn't Drogba score everytime he plays at Wembley as well? And Torres is now in form, as are a lot of the Chelsea players.
Anything can happen in a final, we all know that. But Chelsea won't just roll over for Liverpool like they have done in league games past few seasons - they'll be right up for KKK and his gang. And you're right about CL football - it's going to cost Dalglish his job unless he jumps ship first because he's not going to fire the Dippers into 4th spot ahead of United, City, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal anytime soon.
I wonder how RAWK will react if Chelsea get the refereeing decisions we get when we play Chelsea. Another reason for them to explode. Conspiracy. Sir Alex paid refs to stop Pool winning.

A Torres winner would be quite sublime, or even better, a Torres penalty
A Torres penalty given away by Gerrard, who is then red carded.
