RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

Woy's problem was that he made out that he was the victim. If he had made out that the entire club and fanbase were victims, he would've been golden.

It's still got some classic posts tonight, Badunk!

My mate came round tonight to watch the game. He's a good few years older than me. Seen it all. Stood everywhere home and away.

First thing he said was "The FA will have told the referee to get our keeper sent off"

First thing.

He was right. The FA won't let us win their cup.

What a complete tosser. That's the first time I've ever watched a post match manager interview and felt the urge to punch the manager. Arrogance in the extreme - he's a PR nightmare.

Credit to the Sky reporter for standing his ground.

Please tell me if Liverpool were to ever get good again and we dropped off, we wouldn't get as bad as that? Someone?

I don't get this go onto a hated rival website thing. Unless you've got deep cover like I have on your website. Don't you ever wonder who I am? It's great fun.

Wasn't Andy registered here back in the day but was banned?!

Kenny seems like he's about to snap, I'm worried he's going to lose it one day soon and attack a grandmother or try to eat a seeing eye dog or something mad.

The longer they have him as their manager the better...the way he's acting in these interview situations is indicative he's cracking up for sure. That Sky interview tonight was 100% pathetic.

Kenny is such a knob isn't he. In pretty much every interview he gives he is unnecessarily sarcastic towards the reporter. Win, lose or draw, he treats their questions like the answer is completely obvious, ignores any things he doesn't want to talk about and on a few occasions tried to just walk off when the interview is clearly still in progress. If I was going to interview him after a game I'd see it as absolute gold dust, as any question that could dare paint the mighty Liverpool FC in a bad light seems to rile him. This is probably one of the reasons why people can't wait to ask him those questions. He doesn't help himself does he? If he was respectful and not so much of an arse, maybe people would give him a break now and then.

The hilarious thing is, everyone can see he's fecking up the club but himself and everyone else in the Liverpool bubble. It's quite clearly all going to end in tears and I'm very much enjoying watching it unfold while they all look on like clueless spackers.

Very interesting post.

I always thought Roy's problem was that due to his career history he carried a bit of 'small club' mentality to Liverpool. He couldn't adjust to the higher expectations of a club like Pool.

Your idea that his umble patter was part of a deliberate strategy to instill greater realism in the club and the fans is pretty original. If it was a calculated ploy though he clearly went too far. No way Pool fans were going to swallow being told that a home draw against some lower half team was an acceptable result.

There were a few of us in the Roy thread here saying he was just speaking the truth, Liverpool were and are only a mid table team and that the idiots just wanted to be lied to.

The Scousers in Red Cafe, of course, explained how wrong we were. They are now gone. Vanished. Because their team is what we said it was: Not better than 7th.

Roy was doing nothing but speaking the truth.

I kinda miss the internet warriors that would drag out year old quotes, especially from our resident Scousers and Gooners, showing how deluded they are about their own team.

I'm too lazy to do it myself.

I like how Lucas has suddenly become their best player in his absence. So you can chalk that up as another excuse that will be pulled out come the end of the season.

He's really embarrassing!

I would like to see though when ALL reporters decide not to interview him at all, after a game, leaving the game report without quotes or comments from him. The response of Liverpool fans would be priceless. LOL

Whoever isnt in the team is the reason why they're doing shit. Aquilani has been that man for a couple of seasons and Lucas has taken over from him this season. But they also bemoan Maxi's absences, coz he actually scores, unlike the rest of their team. I've seen posts after a game saying "this was tailor-made for Aquilani" and thought "wtf?" He only touched the ball about 50 times in his whole Liverpool career ffs.

Just watched the Kenny post match interview.

How can someone be that much of a cnut? I mean it still baffles me. He is one of the most vile men i've ever watched on TV or seen in person. The way he tries shoving past to get away while the interview was going on was pure idiotic.

All the snide comments as well, 'don't see what I have to explain why I thought we were definitely going to get the winner'. Cheer up you fecking tit, you just won a game for once.

The best bit was he couldn't get passed the cameras etc so he then had to stand there awkwardly for a few more questions twitching away

Part of me was hoping he'd push/punch his way through to be honest

'don't see what I have to explain why I thought we were definitely going to get the winner'.
He has a point though.

They keep asking these silly question.

'How do you feel after scoring the winner?'
'Miserable i tell you'

'How does it feel to join a club like Aston Villa?'
It's a dream come true. (well i dreamt of Barcelona, but Okay!!)

'Are you confident of coming games?'
You really think i will say No on national TV?
