Reminds me of Chelsea's Ramires, Henderson, actually.Jordan Henderson's style of play is nothing like Michael Carrick.

In a way I feel sorry for Henderson, everyone thought he was a talented young player with a good future until he went to Liverpool. Surely his seemingly lacklustre performances are actually a result of mismanagement under Kenny and Liverpool than the improbability of him losing his talent overnight. There were plenty of people around these parts (albeit probably before I signed up) who would have given their left arm to have us sign him. Or is it just that he was always overrated because he's English and now that he's at a club that we aren't neutral towards, we are suddenly saying what we really think about him? He's still a talented young player as far as I am concerned, though that doesn't stop me taking the piss.
AverageHe was mediocre for Sunderland last season - but no one wanted to believe this. He had a great breakthrough season, but then last season, just seemed to meander around the pitch not really doing much - pretty much like he's done at Liverpool this season.
Not atrocious by any means...but he isn't a tackler, he obviously isn't a Lampard, but then he doesn't really organize things and keep play ticking over either.
So what is he?
I think whiskeynose will be sacked before King Kenny. His record in Europe is embarassing, he's spent £100m on Anderson Hargreaves Berbaflop etc. Amazed the board have stuck with him. Under-achieved given the resources at his disposal.
hasnt Kenny spent £110m in 15 months alone? Thats gone well.
Hargreaves and Anderson played in a winning CL final.
Berba'flop' has won PL trophies.
Other than just LOL. I wouldnt know what else to say back.
My Liverpool supporting mate, who used to be quite sain and one you could actually talk to, has now stopped reading the papers as their is a conspiracy in the press against Liverpool.
I am serious, as an example every home game you have 35000 more fans paying 50 quid sat 25 home games pers season. Thats £45m each season without all the other icome. Where does this money go? On players wages ergo underachieved... you have bought the prems but the acid test is against European teams where your record is embarassing.
Genuine text i've just received from a mate who's a Liverpool fan.
Apart from him surely baiting rather than genuinely believing what he's written, how do I respond to that?

He's normally relatively sane for a Liverpool fan too, but apparently he's serious.
I'm genuinely lost for words...
Is that serious?
I really don't know what to say to that.
Tell him no manager has won more than two Champions Leagues and only Real, Barca and Milan have won more CL titles than United (3 each). He needs to realise that the Champions League is not the European Cup.
Show him our European record? The clean sheet records, home games without losing, amount of times we reached the final, how often we won it etc.
Precisely. If not for Barca (one of the bect first XI's in recent memory), we'd have won 3 Champion's Leagues in the last five years.

It's far from a certainty that we'd have beaten Hiddink's Chelsea and Mourinho's Madrid.
Rafa in, co-manager with Kenny, win FA cup then PL then CL, solved.
Very happy we acted this way and it shows that we arent going to accept 8th or 10th or 15th or wherever we end up.

Think kennys moving up and guardiola coming in
Rafa won't come in as DoF, he still has things to prove in management and could be at Madrid next season..

Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli leaves club
Liverpool director of football Damien Comolli has left the club by mutual consent, the Reds have announced.
Comolli was appointed by club co-owners John W. Henry and Tom Werner following their takeover of the club in September 2010.
He oversaw a major spending spree which included the signings of Andy Carroll for £35m and Luis Suarez for £22.7m.
Comolli said: "I am happy to move on from the club and go back to France for family reasons."
He added: "I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to work at Liverpool. I wish the club all the best for the future."
The announcement was made as Liverpool prepare for their FA Cup semi-final against Everton at Wembley on Saturday.
Liverpool's head of sports science and medicine Peter Brukner has also left the club. The Australian, who has also worked with with the swimming, athletics and hockey national teams in his home country, arrived at Anfield in 2010 after a spell with the Socceroos at World Cup in South Africa.
Liverpool chairman Werner said: "The club needs to move forward and we now have a huge game on Saturday. It is important that everyone joins us in supporting the manager and gets behind Kenny [Dalglish] and the team and focuses on a strong finish to the season."
Principal owner Henry added: "We are grateful for all of Damien's efforts on behalf of Liverpool and wish him all the best for the future."
Comolli, 39, was appointed by Liverpool in November 2010 to work alongside former manager Roy Hodgson.
At the time of his appointment the Frenchman said Hodgson, who was replaced by Kenny Dalglish in January 2011, had the final say on all transfers.
He said his role was identifying targets and meant he was responsible for overseeing Dalglish's £112.8m spending spree last year.
As well as Carroll and Suarez, the Reds also paid a combined £36m for Aston Villa winger Stewart Downing and Sunderland midfielder Jordan Henderson.
Last September Comolli said he was not looking for new players as he believed Liverpool's squad was "complete".
Following Comolli's departure, Dalglish said: "He has been really helpful in every transfer target that we've gone for.
"Everyone who has come into the club since Damien has been here was of my choice.
"Once I made the choice who I wanted, Damien went away and did a fantastic job of bringing them in.
on Comolli:
Stop it, it hurts!
With Comolli sacked RAWK are now blaming pretty much all the shit signings on him. The ol' "see they weren't Kenny's signings at all".
KKK now has a free pass for this year and surely will be there next year.
Happy days.
It's a change in culture for the club....
Under Parry/Moores underachievement wasn't challenged.
Here performance is being scrutinised under a microscope
Today's actions remind me of this scene from The Godfather. Swift, brutal, no sympathy
They are going mad for Henderson over there:
I think he is a better player than some give him credit for on here but this is too much. I would take the likes of Huddlestone, Lansbury, Cleverly over Henderson.
Damn, surely they can't be serious??
