RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

There's no Heysel, Hillsborough or Munich-related shit-slinging involved, GB, it's just harmless fun between sets of fans.

If people get a kick out of reading & posting about it then let 'em at it.

Bit of your own medicine - ya Jackeen boo-boy... :smirk:

Wrong thread, RHD!

And my GAA loyalties lie towards the south-west in any case.

It was funny while there was some degree of challenge coming from them and Rafa was in charge. Was cack last season and so is this one so far.

What's the point of closing the thread? We are laughing at the delusion of the scousers, not 'for the sake of it'. The excessive Andy@Allerton (not a WUM, just a poor simple scouse cnut) quoting is annoying, but a load of us find this thread entertaining so closing it for something like that is a bit of a joke.

I think someone has sand in their vagina.

You just know that Liverpool will somehow feck up during the course of the season and RAWK will melt down, as it always does.

They're in the first stage of delusion over there at the minute i.e. in thinking that players like Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing are going to deliver lots of silverware.

Stage Two is imminent (the beginning of the season).

Stage Three (meltdown) usually happens just after Xmas. That's when they'll bang on about "next" season again. But who will they blame this time? They haven't got Hodsgon or the owners to blame anymore.

The weather? Food price inflation?

Ironically, the whole "this thread is embarrassing" thing is more a sign of caring what Liverpool fans think than the thread itself. Who gives a shit if they think we're obsessed? It's just a bit of fun. Sometimes they say stupid/funny stuff, and we quote it. And then we laugh a bit. No, the "material" isn't always top class, but good look finding the thread on the Caf where it is.

But yes, I miss Rafa. Dalglish isn't nearly as fun :(

'A Song for Downing'

To the tune of 'Wild Thing':

Downing der der der der
You make the Kop sing der der der der der der
You cross everything perfect
Downing I think I love you
Even more when you score

Repeat

This is my favorite thread on the caf. I'll burn my fecking bra if it get's shut down. Laughing at scouse delusion is the cream on top of every United success.

I sat down with a large coffee on Sunday evening and read the RAWK matchday thread from start to finish. There's enough material in there to write a book on delusion and bias at a clinically chronic level.

Before the match it was all about how City were going to be too strong for us in midfield. Then when we were absolutely controlling the game it was "what a shit game between two shit teams" and "an embarrassment for English football" that they were tempted to "turn off and go and paint the fence"

But they didn't turn off. And how glad they were that they didn't as they saw United concede two goals which "proves just how shit they are" and that our new keeper who they actually are terrified will become one of the best in the world one day was "another shit keeper signed by Mr Alex Ferguson"

About 4 pages of lololololz and derision followed as they somehow tried to argue that friendlies such as them losing to Hull, are meaningless and tell you nothing about a team's chances, but at the same time, United being 2-0 down in a friendly was proof absolute that their view of us being absolutely shit is true.

Allerton was tallying up the decisions despite his thread about not moaning about referees or United this season. That he hadn't kept this up even before a ball was kicked, will be beyond the scope of his massive lack of ability to see anything that opposes his views on football.

There were plenty of requests for links to s stream as the Rawktards, keen to kick United while they were showing signs of that longed for decline, wanted in on the action "lolz they're losing at half time, Rafa was right, they ARE finished"

We all know what happened next, but suffice to say, their reaction did not disappoint. They still somehow managed to spin it such that this shit embarrassment to the English league, was good news for Liverpool in the coming season.

Long live RAWK, and long live this thread!

'A Song for Downing'

What is it with RAWK and songs about players who haven't actually done anything for them yet?

At least wait until the guy actually sets up/ scores some meaningful goals in competitive games before proclaiming him the next Ronaldo.

What next? Some song for Ngog in which he single handedly wins them the treble?

Ngog the striker, can he shin it?

Ngog the striker, yes he can!

{to the tune of Bob the Builder}

Haha fantastic

In the year 2034 when we have a poor season and finish 4th they'll still be saying Rafa was right they are finished

Again - I deserve a tagline for creating the original RAWK Goes Into Meltdown Thread. But do I get one? Yep - ON TRIAL.

You don't need to do all that to get a tagline... being an arse works just as well, it's quicker too...

Celtics number one fan should be your tag surely!

Surely that should be yours seeing as you throw your toys out of the pram everytime someone says something negative about your beloved Bhoys?

;)

What's the point of a tagline or am I missing something? It's a fecking internet forum ffs

Is it? Well feck me sideways and call me Susan, I could have sworn this was real life!

internet-serious-business.jpg

I had one already, didn't like it... believe it or not I had my tagline changed to 'First Team Regular'

Seriously... no, seriously.

Serious - really are you seriously serious - be serious now????

Jesus, you're lucky you got your tagline changed to that, the lads who've requested one have got shafted.

Folk either think i'm good at relationship advice or that i'm a breaker-upper of one. Either way i'm fecked - soft cnut if i am or an utter cnut if i'm the other :nervous:
