Theie chances of a top 4 finish are very, very slim. Their squad is inferior to Tottenham's, let alone top 4.

Good enough to finish above Liverpool. Their squad is full of mediocre players with only Suarez, Reina and healthy Gerrard as the ones which you can label as class players. They've added few players to the squad which will make their life easier, but can't see them doing better then 5th place. Everything above that would require Arsenal, City, Chelsea or even United to make massive step(s) down from the last season and really can't see that happening. City, Chelsea and United are clear class above Liverpool atm and it would be biggest surprise and flop of the season for some of them 3 to lose top 4 spot. Even if Arsenal loses Fabregas to Barca Wenger is still better manager then Daglish (nevermind his losers attitude) and will manage to push Arsenal at least to the 4th place. Their season has ended before it started in first place just they don't know it yet. Can't wait to see them when they realise it's just another season of the disappointment for theirs beloved Liverpool, it will be priceless.
