RAWK Goes Into Meltdown (2011/2012)

Is it against the realms of possibility that Clarke and Kenny deliberately instructed the midfield to allow the full-backs to get exposed one-on-one a few times to allow for some training of defending against wingers? Sunderland for example are likely to play with two fast, tricky wide players in midfield. Or am I clutching at straws?

That post match thread is comedy gold!

Meanwhile, RAWK takes 3 pages & over 100 posts to say that Sneijder's rubbish & Liverpool wouldn't take him on a free; though not all agree...

Sorry are you telling me a player that was integral to a club winning a treble and to a nation reaching the world cup final would be a worse option than Aquilani or Meireles?!

Just discovered their Snijder thread. Some unreal stuff in there.

"As a few people, and rightly so, point out, take what you hear from ITK's with a pinch of salt. This is now even more paramount. You may have missed a post I put in (i think) the Henderson topic. Kenny had told Commolli to keep transfers quiet as our rivals are hearing about them and acting. This is in effect. My source now is hearing very little. And if he isnt getting the information, it truly is showing that were going old school, and rightly so. Im happy in a way. Its how it should be..."

The new silence at Anfield

Yeah, buyin shite players that no-one else wants & still gettin pardew'd with the price aswell... its the way it should be alright - just ask Houllier, he spent shit loads on shit players.. its the Liverpool way...

feck me, that lad thinks he's in Nam or something... shoosh dont tell anyone.. :wenger:

 Liverpool secret service

Apparently Aquilani or Miereles would be better for us than Sneijder.

This presumably is not because those two are even good players, rather that they don't rate Sneijder at all.

Kenny had told Commolli to keep transfers quiet as our rivals are hearing about them and laughing.

Fixed.

They have signed Downing, Adam and Henderson. All three of them had been linked to Liverpool for weeks
wtf are they talking about :/

No 'we're done signing mediocre British players for a while', but instead 'yeah so its totally a secret now'

If King Kong Kenny did say something like that to Comolli, I wonder how a random poster in RAWK heard about what Dalglish said, and how it's being implemented. :wenger:

Fail

This goes way beyond delusional, this poster needs help, not the normal kind of therapy, more like a team of therapists, perhaps in Austria or something where he can be monitored 24 hrs a day....

That's just more fuel to the fire that is Rawk members.

This bit is great. He so wanted to highlight his team's strikers.
Forward of the year
Luis Suarez(in Liverpool) / Andy Carroll (in League)
I lost count of how many thinks Downing or Lucas to be midfielder of the year.
A number of Agger for defender of the year too

Love how just about everyone is go for Young in the worst signing, Still bitter over losing him, I guess

There's that one guy who thinks we need Sneijder to finish ahead of Liverpool.

You can't make this up.

So according to most of them, their players are going to get POTY, Signing of the year, YPOTY, Midfielder of the year, Top Scorer, Defender of the year and yet almost all of them have put Liverpool as 4th, how does that work out?

I love how this whole summer they've been talking about Dalglish like he's some sort of tactical genius. Like everything he does has a deeper, long term meaning to it, like getting owned in pre-season. When really he just thought "Right, I've got Andy Carroll...ok we'll buy Downing so he can cross it it to him. Nice."

And those that didn't opt for Young went for De Gea or Phil Jones instead.

How different 10 years made, Do you reckon KK's approach to the game keeping it traditionally British with power play still cut it, the era where passing have increasingly more dominant in today's game.

I can see a very physical Liverpool side, lumping it forward to Carrol and Suarez, while again having no driver in the midfield.

Another thing is that their backline is worrying, Carragher's and his hoof are way past it, and it'll post them too much trouble along the 38 games.

We shall see... interesting

I like the fact that Pool fans are always on cloud 7 and flying so high before the season starts. Makes the fall and the pain just much bigger once they realise they're shit

Of course, there's an 'inho' in his name for gods sake!
