This was from a different Liverpool site, but still brilliant..

We need to keep our best players, I would love to be able to say no thank you to Barcelona, I wouldn't even take a messi swap .

So there we have it folks, Coutinho is now better than Messi. Until he signs for Barca presumably, when he'll become wildly overrated and not good enough for Liverpool anyway..

Only Bayern lost fewer games, and only Bayern conceded fewer goals.

They went the first half of last season unbeaten, but unfortunately for them that included a run of 4 consecutive draws, and two separate runs of 3 consecutive draws, meaning they drew 10 of 17 games. However, they went the entire league season unbeaten at home, lost just 4 games, all of which were by one goal and beat Bayern. They also scored 3 or more goals in 8 games.

They got knocked out of the cup in extra-time away to Koln, who finished 5th.

It's by no means a forgone conclusion that Liverpool are getting through this tie.

Edit: For comparison, Liverpool lost 6 league games, 2 at home. They also got knocked out of both cups losing home games, the FA Cup at home to Wolves (who finished 15th in the Championship), and the EFL Cup to Southampton (who finished 8th), losing both legs of the tie.
Think they got their second toughest draw, first obviously being Nice.

Why shouldn't they be allowed to discuss a player that is injured? Is it because it is seen as a negative and they only want deluded and overly positive discussion, ideally put forth in the form of poems?

Exactly they're at the peak of the cycle, any negativity right now might let the reality that they have no chance of actually winning the league slip in. And it's much nicer to live in a world where Liverpool winning the league is a possibility. Even if it's only for a few months when there is no actual football being played.

They're masochists then because they're setting themselves up for the same frustration over and over again.

I don't think there's much in it between Nice and Hoffenheim, in all honesty. Either would present Liverpool with a challenge.

But past long-term injuries saw average players suddenly become world class (the Lucas Phenomenon).

RAWK is ridiculous.

They're not allowed to discuss Coutinho or Liverpool's owners FSG on there.

It's supposed to be a debate forum. But the admins run the place as a propaganda machine.

When will they realise that no Liverpool player or manager reads their crappy, dated looking forum?

That's hilarious

Liverpool should win easily. Unless someone tells Klopp it is like winning two cup finals...
Liverpool should win yes, but easily? I do not think so. I think they will find it a little difficult to get over the line. I think Liverpool at home will be where this tie will be decided. They Lost Sule so that will be a problem for them, also their coach is relatively inexperienced and only 30 Years old.

Speaking of forums, why don't they uparade their site's design? It looks very ancient.

They hath spunked it all on the likes of Bruno Cheyrou.

Danny Ings on Facebook:

Answer 1:
It was created during their successful years

Answer 2:
Liverpool and RAWK like to keep it North Korean:
  • Never question the system
  • Open discussion leads to locking up
  • The leader must be frantically celebrated although he's an ugly weirdo with temper issues
  • Every impressive start eventually crashes into the sea, yet is still celebrated like a draw against West Brom
  • They play all out attack but have defensive issues
  • Both will never win the Premier League

I like that a lot but we never had no internet in the 1980s,.

(that was bobbling along the goal line**)

**deep in zone 17

 they invented the alternative internet in the 70's...but all sites were locked within minutes when first rumours about Shankly's resignation surfaced...

It's gonna be their year;

(not from RAWK, but it should make them happy)

http://www.football365.com/news/nine-things-we-absolutely-did-not-learn-from-pre-season

In a similar vein, Football365 can reveal how the Premier League 2017/18 table will look come May. This is based on pre-season results, with point handed out in the traditional manner for draws and wins. Even though some clubs played considerably fewer games than others this summer, and some still haven’t actually completed their full schedule, this is pretty much certain:
  1. Liverpool (17 points)
  2. Manchester United (16 points)
  3. Burnley (14 points)
  4. Bournemouth (12 points)
  5. Brighton (11 points)
  6. Huddersfield (11 points)
  7. Arsenal (10 points)
  8. Newcastle (10 points)
  9. Manchester City (9 points)
  10. Leicester (8 points)
  11. Swansea (8 points)
  12. West Brom (8 points)
  13. Everton (7 points)
  14. Stoke (7 points)
  15. Watford (7 points)
  16. Crystal Palace (6 points)
  17. Southampton (5 points)
  18. West Ham (5 points)
  19. Chelsea (3 points)
  20. Tottenham (3 points)

There it is, folks. Liverpool are pipping Manchester United to the title, with Burnley and Bournemouth qualifying for the champions League. Last season’s top two and this season’s bottom two, with Chelsea and Tottenham joined in dropping to the Championship by West Ham. The Hammers are relegated by virtue of the alphabet

Apart from Liverpool winning, I quite like the look of that :D

Still more plausible than pool winning the league...

Left, right, left, right...
On that note. Have the afternoon off. The tone in the thread is shite anyway.

Go and watch our two rivals who have massively improved with massive transfers this summer playing a glorified friendly
I'm seriously considering packing the shitchat thread in. There was a time it didn't existed and it has been repeatedly opened to allow people to have a laugh during the transfer windows, but it is now almost unmitigated bollocks, whinging, sniping and arguing.

If it is reopened again, there will be a new thread with some pretty strict rules.
Ready, aim...

The worst mods since Sting in Quadrophenia.

RAWK is becoming a more extreme parody of itself. Like, Coutinho might move, it is a valid discussion, and they are afraid of any discussion and only post positive news. They are 1984 of Football forums with Klopp being their cult of personality leader.

Perfectly summed up.

I tried to join RAWK 3 or 4 times but no joy.

I look in on it all the time, and i find the locking of topics a tad childish, can the mods not control what is being posted.

The reason for the locks is they can't handle discussion about subjects that make them upset.

From their thread - 'Points expected from their first 5 matches'.

Watford (A) - 3.
Palace (H) - 3.
Arsenal (H) - 3
Man City (A) - 1
Burnley (H) - 3.

14 Pts
So 4 wins and a draw.
And a bonus point for covering more yards.
