Ravel Morrison (Only football related)

Such a cnut, Daniel Taylor... He really, really enjoys writing texts as negative as this.

Still, I don't believe he will finish in jail now... He played tonight, club obviously decided to support him again. It will be big pressure on Ravel in YC final. All this is probably the reason why he didn't go to Italy on that tournament with the rest of the u18 team. When is out next u18 match, on Saturday? It will be interesting to see will he start, I think that's their last match before Cup final...

We have it in mail also now...

Manchester United starlet Ravel Morrison appears in court charged with assault | Mail Online

So, in between committing multiple felonies, just how good is this kid? I really haven't seen enough of him (more than 3 games) to take an objective view.

Maybe a few months inside will do him some good. It's not easy to get out of the lifestyle he seems to want to be involved in.

I hope we don't give up on him.

It's all from one b/s post on some retarded website that I can't believe anyone takes seriously enough to repost anywhere. As someone else posted, looked like he took a knock v Chelski, nothing sinister.

:lol::lol::lol:

Sad news though

So, in between committing multiple felonies, just how good is this kid? I really haven't seen enough of him (more than 3 games) to take an objective view.

He sticks out as being about 5 times as talented as everyone else on the pitch even when he's moved up to the reserves.

This lad is clearly a fecking Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime of the highest order. One thing after another.

He does have the look of a psycho about him:eek:. If those allegations hold up I don't see him staying out of jail this time.

I hope not but if it happens I don't know how much more Utd could do.He's an adult now, the club can't protect him forever but I think we should all wait, it could be nothing but a heated argument in which the police were called. They have to take all allegations seriously and investigate before any charges are brought, think that's mandatory

The problem is that he's fecking amazing. His skill on the ball is baffling at times.

He's basically the player in midfield that everyone on here has been crying out for (can dribble through the middle, can finish and shoot from range, excellent vision, etc...).

Don't know what to make of this yet. We'll have to see what happens.

Watching him come on last night was quite remarkable.Even though he didn't do anything special as such, his time on the ball, vision was really good. There were a couple of decent players for Liverpool but he played the game at his own pace

I really hope this comes to nothing because you know if he's let go by the club, he'll only be snapped up by another club and will go on to be a top player

My only hope at this point is that he played last night - can't help thinking if the club were resigned to him being found guilty (and - while I'm no legal expert at all - surely that would mean a prison sentence given his previous) then they wouldn't be involving him.

If he is found guilty then I'd say that perhaps enough's enough, time to cut him loose. Only so much you can put up with because of his talent and the fear he'll sort himself out and do well elsewhere.

What a spastic

How surprising is it that yet again it is that cancerous cnut Taylor gleefully delivering another piece of negative 'news' about Manchester United

Such a cnut, Daniel Taylor... He really, really enjoys writing texts as negative as this.

Maybe we should criticise Morrison, rather than the Manchester based football journalist who's job it is to report on United and City. Just a thought, but I don't think it's the reporting of an assault and criminal damage that will get Morrison sent to jail.

If the rumours are true, and I have no reason to doubt them - it still seems as if the club are willing to stick by him - or at least they have not decided to get shot of him yet.

The incident happened before the Chelsea game, which he played in. I can't believe talk that he hasn't been training, or been at Carrington, since then either based on the fact he played last night. If he hadn't been at the club he wouldn't have been around to draft in as a late replacement for Brown in the first place, and even if he was only brought into the squad to make up numbers - we played him, which I don't think we'd have done if we were washing our hands of him.

I do think this summer will be massive for Morrison, but I don't think a decision has been made by the club yet.

Will be very interesting to see if he is involved with the U18 side for the FAYC Final games - or indeed the reserve side in the playoff next week.

He's got issues, psycholgical issues and i'm certain that will be something the club look to address. You know he was't involved and then he was with browns injury and then he comes on as a sub. If a players dropped, I don't know if you call them up let alone bring them on as a sub

It's a shame but whatever happens, I think the club will bide their time and not 'react'. The initital rumor was him back in with his mates...so much for rumors...but clearly he has anger issues - though people have a tendancy to imagine things on occasions. You'd think the media would show abit more common sense. It seems the media in this country, don't believe in allowing kids the chance to change. Maybe they loved Gazza being fecked up in his early 20's? Maybe that's what they want ...they should leave him alot and let the club deal with it. These jornos on twitter are pathetic.

He looked happy enough last night when he came on.Maybe we can't read anything into that but on the other hand we can't read anything on allegations

i think we should send him out on loan next season, if he is still at the club. I think some time in Norway at Molde with Solskjaer could be good for him. He would have staff familiar with him so theer would be a support structure there, and it would get him away from Manchester, and perhaps help him to concentrate on football, and keep out of trouble off the pitch.

Maybe Norway isn't the correct level for him in terms of progressing his talent, but I can't think of another club that would have a better environment for him - and perhaps the environment is more important in this instance than the level he would be playing at.

I would imagine there would be a number of english clubs interested in taking him on loan, and perhaps they should be looked at, but I would be trying to get him as far away from Manchester as possible for the moment.

Any chance this assault charge rumour could be related to an old incident, rather than something new.

You would have thought that the club would have issued a final warning after the last situation, so for him to still be with the club they are either waiting for the case to be heard and want to utilise him whilst he's still available to play, or they know more than what has been reported and are brushing over the situation.

I really hope that this is perhaps someone out for revenge on Ravel and know that it will cause him trouble not only right now, but also the long term. He's certainly no angel, but to lose a kid of his talent and his potential would be horrible.

I think the club will just continue to persist with him, a kid of his age.. sometimes it just takes longer to click and understand the fortunate position they're in. Once they do, then it all turns out well.. the club are being patient and rightfully so, there's nothing to be gained by throwing him to the wayside - this is presuming all the rumours are true.

These are potentially relatively minor charges. You could get done for assault and criminal damages if you push someone and smash a plate on the floor. Not ideal to end up in front of the old bill while under a referral order, mind you. Silly boy.

The whole twitter rumour thing was about him no longer training at the club because he was hanging around with his "old gang" or something, wasn't it? These charges don't make the rumours any less of a nonsense, seeing as the charges relate to an incident with his girlfriend and he played a game for our reserves.

Kinda, but in interpreted it differently.

I read the rumours as he had not been at Carrington since the FAYC game, was in trouble with the police again and hanging around with his 'old gang'. Not that he wasn't training because he was hanging around with his old gang.

This kinda thing pisses me off no end. I mean how many of us would give our left bollock to have a fraction of this lads talent yet he seems intent on fcuking his whole life up.

The assult charge against him relates to his girlfriend apparently, if true should the club stand by him any more?

That was the main point in what was being said. Which was clearly nonsense, or he wouldn't have got a game for our reserves.

I guess it depends. It's not like he's being charged with ABH or GBH. "Assault" could just mean some pushing and shoving. I guess we'll find out more when the case goes to court.

Whilst I agree with your sentiments, I would not agree to sending him away from Alex Ferguson. To be honest, on top of that, I think he's such a developed talent already that he cannot really be that far away from a few first team appearances here and there.

I took the girlfriend aspect of it as a positive, somehow. Visualised some sort of tiff that went a bit far. Here's to hoping.

If it wasn't for the discipline problems I wouldn't be looking to loan him out - as I don't think he needs it in terms of football development, but it really does seem there is a lot of potential for personal development with this lad, and a prolonged stint away from Manchester could be just what he needs.

If he's getting up to all sorts under the eye of Sauron, then what's he gonna be like in the Shire?

(cringe...)

I don't know about that. If he's not hanging round his old mates, then what we are doing is 'working' - what we need to do is help him recover - however, the fact is it's a two way street. The media know they can create any old crap and the mud sticks. I think sending him on loan, isn't really going to solve any long term issues and it's better we keep him in house. We don't know what the club are doing to resolve the situation and in these situations, it's best to rely on ourselves and no one else. Even if he left for a year, his mates would still be here...

Most definitely.

He's only just 18 yrs old and a lot has gone on in his life. From a footballing pov there's a huge potential in this lad and he needs the correct environment for it to delevop fully. He has a good environment within United but unfortunately he doesn't seem to have one outside of the club.

If they could improve his outside environment we would have one hell of a player here.

seemingly he is hanging round his old mates so what we are doing is not working well enough.

As for his friends still being around when he got back from his loan - yes, they would. But my hope would be that the year away would help to focus him on his football and realise the life he can have if he keeps his nose clean and head in the game. Maybe he wouldn't come back a more mature person, but that would be my hope at least.
