His talent has been evident since his first few appearances, but now that suddenly his G/A is totally fine as well, all the doubters are gone, interesting...
The cerebral assassin.
You saying he has the pedigree?
You saying he has the pedigree?
The signs are strong that he knows how to play the game.
Not sure why the Wolves players react since he was never going to get the ball back anyway, which they should have seen from recent matches it was the right thing for Rasmus to do though
Not sure. He wears 11 for Denmark tooI'm thinking he will switch to the number 9 from 11 once Martial leaves at the end of the season no?
He definitely would have scored a couple if the ball came 1/2 sec earlier. There was a chance where Garnacho could see and pass to him, he reacted well to get a shot off but would have scored if it was released just a little faster.
Feels like Sparky played like he's a no. 10, or I'd say he's similar to Harry Kane.Hojlund works so hard. The hassling and harrying he gets through, week in week out, its like he's been studying old tapes of Sparky. He's not quite got that physicality, also lacks the clean finishing but Hojlund is what I imagine Ji would've been like had he been born taller and played up front. Glad to see him keep scoring, even if I am a little irritated by some of his second half misses.

He takes too long to control the ball and lay it off when he's holding up play and it always looks a bit complicated. But otherwise, good runs, good pace, works hard and gets a thunderbolt of a shot away. Still haven't seen enough to say he'll hit the heights we demand from our main striker. Does he really have the creativity of a Rooney or the elegance of a Van Persie?
A United #9 should really be best some of the best in the business even if we're lacking in other departments. RvP, Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov, RvN is the pedigree. I think he'll be fine here but don't think he'll be world class.
Don't get me wrong, he's a modern #9. If we can get goals out of the two wingers / inside forwards then it's totally fine to have a guy like him around.
I mean that's totally fine to say that about a 20 year old right now if he doesn't ever improve but a bit harsh to compare him to those players, who apart from Rooney, joined us in their mid--to-late-twenties with much more developed careers under a GOAT manager and incredible team mates.
I mean context and all.
He should he on 4/5 more assists from the sitters he’s created in just the last two games. If they squared the easy ball to him in the box he’d have had 1/2 more goals from the same games.
He wont be like Rooney or van perise ..I mean that's totally fine to say that about a 20 year old right now if he doesn't ever improve but a bit harsh to compare him to those players, who apart from Rooney, joined us in their mid--to-late-twenties with much more developed careers under a GOAT manager and incredible team mates.

If he can be as good as Mandzukic that would be money well spent to be honest .He wont be like Rooney or van perise ..
He will be like Mandzukic
Height, power, pace, lethal shot, ability to lay people off, ability to make good runs, good pressing and more I mean what else do you want as raw tools from your young striker?Yeah I guess my prediction is that he won't ever get there. Just don't see enough raw tools in the locker to even hope. Greenwood for instance had the talent and you'd back him to go be an RvP like striker. Hojlund has enough to still have a career here but I think he'll be a rotation option eventually.
Delighted to see him starting to hit the net regularly, same thing happened in Italy, slow start then started scoring in the second half of the season. I was encouraged to see him talking to Rashford a few times, there's potential for a excellent partnership there, long way to go but 9 goals from 27 games isn't a disaster for a 20 year old. I'm pretty confident that he'll end the season on 15+ then kick on next season.
