Where are you in the table?
He seemed uncomfortable but at least he didn't throw the players under the bus when the interviewer brought up the attitude point.I get the impression from his post match interview on SKY that he couldn't put his finger on why we couldn't beat Newcastle, that's all I am saying.

I thought that he was having a pop at Telles too but when I rewatched it he was actually moaning at the linesman for not noticing that the ball had nicked off a Newcastle United player so it should have been our throw not theirs. The thing that frustrated me the most was the simple passes they kept messing up. It invited most of the pressure onto the back line it was crazy. We have away possession far too cheaply and it allowed Newcastle to get at us with ease. The scary part is, it wasn’t just one player doing it, the whole team were at it. Maguire set the tone in the first minute or 2 followed by Varane for the goal. Rashford with a simple ball out for a counter attack from the Newcastle corner as well. Even when sancho came on he was at it as well
We didn’t press as a team and only one or two players, we need it to be a Joint effort for it to be successful but just didn’t see that tonight.
How we escaped with a point and 70% possession is mind blowing. Cavani should have buried that chance when Telles crossed.
RR wasnt afraid to make changea at half time when it clearly wasn’t working and the subs changed the game for us and we played better. Too much in fighting amongst the players is another concern. Again another simple pass to Telles from Cavani and he left it to go for a throw. Cavani then proceeds to have a pop at Telles and Telles ignoring him and turning his back and walking off.
Some deep rooted problems at the club and can’t quite put my finger on what the main issue is.
Every manager at this level will be able to see what went wrong. Sometimes you just cannot change anything if you don't have the tools available to you.
From what I have seen so far we are going to be playing Thursday night football next season.
Will Ten Hag or Poch fancy that?
This football club is broken beyond repair. Glazers out.
He had all the tools needed to beat Newcastle
The style of play Rangnick wants can't be drilled overnight and will take time to implement.
Couple of games in and people are ready to hang him. What do they realistically expect from a new manager? Back to back wins with City'ish scores? This squad does not have the mentality, fitness, dedication and overall quality to do such things on short notice. Give the man some time for christ sake
Dont get me wrong I do get LvG vibes but you can't judge someone when they've just joined the club and had most of the squad out due to COVID. I believe we only got back to training on Thursday/Friday which isn't enough time to assess all the players fitness / any tactical advise you gave them. Not looking good. Even we conceded one goal, there is no reason not to score 2 goals. Newcastle xGA before this match this month were above 10 in their last 5 matches which the worst one. And we can't score 2 goals against xGA 10 in 5 matches. May be Carrick being caretaker manager is a better option or the obvious better option is if we just hire Conte, Poch, Ten Hag as permanent one.

Yeah, I gave him sh*t in the match day for bringing on Matic, but he must've thought Newcastle were ready to sit back and see out the game. And we did dominate for awhile...until Newcastle found their second wind, and overran us again. To be fair to Ralf, what he did at half-time were the sort of decisive and brave substitutions we never saw under Ole. McT as a one man central midfield with Ronaldo, Cavani, Rashford, Bruno and Sancho all on the pitch at once was an absolute baller move. And we still managed to finish with 70% possession.
The problem he badly needs to solve is getting a tune out of our attacking players. So long as Rashford, Ronaldo, Bruno, Greenwood and Sancho are putting in such abysmal individual performances we’re going to find it very hard to score goals.

Onwards and upwards.
Well as i said between that game and this we have had COVID running a muck through the teamWe should be expecting a slightly improvement each game. From Palace game to Newcastle, have we shown any sign of improvement? The answer is no. He's only interim manager and if it takes 6 months to make it work then by that time his contract term would have been expired. If he's our permanent manager, I wouldn't be too worried.
Yeah there is. That reason being Ronaldo and Rashford putting in consistently diabolical individual performances since Rangnick took over (Sancho and Greenwood no better).

Wasn't Sancho starting to come good though, no need to drop him I felt. Top class player, needs games not rest unlike ronaldo, and Greenwood who I don't personally rate, yet.Yeah there is. You're right. I mean, people I know have been recovering months after they caught COVID but footballers shouldn't be the same because... umm... oh yeah... they get paid a lot.We were back in training 7 days ago mate.
